Question about Saeco Odea Go
After a thunder my Saeco Odea Go doesn't warm up; the light "!" always blinking.I have check the value of resistance on boiler and I have measured 100ohm, I don't know if this value it's correct but isn't interrupted and isn't shortcut.I have check the thermostate and the fuse all are ok. I have check the ntc sensor inside the boiler and it's ok. So I thought that the problem could be the triac, so I have changed the triac component Q8012LH5TP - TRIAC, 800V, 12A, but still doesn't work. I'm not sure if the problem is only on electronics mother board or there are other problems. I want to be sure that the problem is the electronic mother board because cost it 50-90euro. Could you help me?

Hello, I had the same problem, therefore the machine has gone to a repair centre. The problem is caused by a mechanical switch in the machine, that doesn't work properly. To repair it you've to open the machine completely, but that’s not easy. Because there is nothing broken you’ll should have warranty because it is a production failure. The solution in my case was to heat up the switch and push it a little together so that the contact works properly. It is the switch that you hear when you turn on the machine.

Have you checked the power button to make sure it is not defective, if yes then check the capacitor under the pump to make sure it is not damaged.

HI, I am sure you have solved your problem, however:
If you Descale the machine and let it Rinse to complettion of the
cycle; it resets the machine and it will start Rinising after warmup.
Otherwise press the Menu button and go to Energy Saving
then press the Esc buttton. This allows the machine to start
without Rinsing. Also you may turn Rinsing to Off in the Menu.
