When you push the button to open/close the drawer, does it work,
i.e., is there electrical power reaching the drive?
Did you put a disk into the "source" drive?
Is the same disk recognized when you put that disk into any other computer?
If so, then the "source" drive is damaged, and needs to be repaired/replaced.
Hi you put your dvd or cd into the top copier,put however many blanks you want copied into the burners below, you dont have to use all 7 if you dont want to make sure the control panal on the front says copy press enter and thats it.
it's not the heads that actually have the problem, it's the head guide that's sticking whenever it reaches those tracks mentioned. you need to open the drive initially to be able to repair or clean the malfunctioning parts. the read-write lenses be cleaned with cotton buds, and the stainless steil head guides be wiped clean and oiled.
