You may have to reformat the HDD, which takes quite a while on larger hard drives.

Do you get the error as soon as the console boots up?

Hi,I'm having CFW 5.50 Prome-4.I downloaded FF7 Crisis Core ISO from the internet and when i wanted to start a new game.after selecting new game it just shows me a black screen but the power button is...

It seems like you have a broken ISO from the internet, I would suggest the following measures.
1. Redownload the ISO, it may be corrupted. Try to download it from another source.
2. This is more severe, but it might help in the long run: re-apply the update for your CFW, meaning, reformat your PSP, apply the update and the CFW again.

Hope these tips help :D

did you download the game from psn? if you did try downloading it again. something could have happened while downloading that caused it to have corrupt sectors. if you downloaded it at a different site other than the psn you probably downloaded it as an iso or cso if that is the case.... do you have cfw (custom firm ware) installed on your psp. you have to have that installed on your psp or you won't be able to play any games you download off the internet other than the psn. you can do a search on "psp cfw" to read about the risks n rewards to decide its worth it. youtube has tons of videos on the subject "psp cfw"

Cant play at all.

Okay best bet is to do a few things. First off if you can check the d/l with another CFW psp to see if the file is not corrupted. You may want to re-d/l the game or find out if anybody else has d/l from this person and had any problems with his iso.

And or you could try to re-format your mem stick with your psp. But make sure you save any files on your mem stick to your computer before you format.

Also are you using a UMD in the drive to load your iso game or are you using the driver from the CFW? Another thing you should add to your question is what Firmware your running (like for ex: 5.00 M33-4) And also add what your clocking your psp at.

Like one of three I have for example:
2000 series psp slim
CFW 5.00 M33-4
CPU clock speed 333/166
CPU clock game 333/166

It might be a number of things. But this is where I keep my setting at and have no problems running this game. Or it could be that you need to upgrade your CFW.

1) All in all try formatting your mem stick first (don't forget to save your files first). Then d/l the iso into the iso folder on your psp.
2) If that didn't work you may have to re-d/l the file but from somewhwere else to be save. And or upgrade your CFW to something higher. Hope that helps.

Please post your outcome would love to hear if this solves your problem. =)
