Question about Computers & Internet
Someone installed a Shruti font as the main font on my word processors (mostly Wordperfect, later Microsoft word), even though I only write in English. Now, as I try to convert my writings in the Shruti font to Times New Roman, I get quite a few garbage characters. An opening quotation mark becomes an "A"; close quotation becomes an @. An apostrophe becomes a = . And so on. Is there a program to clean up this font without engaging in a lot of manual labor? Thanks!

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Same keyboard, same problem for almost 2 years now, and just now figured out how to fix it!! Try a simple left ctrl-shift, your language tab up top will switch between US English/Canadian English/Canadian multilingual, or whatever you set it for. I occasionally want the alternate characters applied, so now I can switch back and forth easily. You may need to set the language tab to your preferred settings. Hope this helps!

It may be in your programs that you need to uninstall WordPerfect Office 12. It just seems like something is partially installed and wants to complete.

Advanced way -"Right" click on your webpage (any webpage)
Click "inspect element"
Move your mouse on the grey styles bar until a tractor wheel with a options sign appears move your mouse onto the options icon and click "new style rule"
Then input the font name followed by the positioning.
Basic way -
1. Go on start menu and find "control panel"
2. Once you've clicked on "control panel" click on "network and internet"
3. Click on "Internet options"
4. Keep on the "general" tab
5. Click on the "fonts" tab at the bottom
Choose what font you want.
I hope this helped. I think if you change them it should help/improve your situation.
Hope I helped Dr Reed

Sounds like a defective keyboard. I seen issues when pressing a button it will trigger another key to be pushed or nothign displays at all. Try replacing keyboard since they are relatively cheap. othersie maybe a software issue
