Hi, you could try copper pipe, 22mm, or 3/4" (ish) ( plumbers) and jubilee (adjustable clips, from hardware store) to clamp the two together.

I had the same problem. Then I discovered that the Bendix USA WDS1043 / WDC1024 is the same, or almost the same, as a Splendide Comb-o-matic 6000. You can find an extensive parts manual at
