So the Fan just runs for a second and turns itself off again. The only way to keep it running is holding the switch. Even any other buttons doesn't work. Any solution anyone ? SOURCE: JVC tv i'art blinking timer

It is protecting you and itself with high probability.
Power supplies in modern electronic devices are designed to cycle if there is a fault in circuitry they are servicing and because of the design, also will not turn on completely if they are failing.

The older style of power supply was 'dumb' and unable to do this so could cause fires if the failure wasn't teh 'right' kind to blow the main fuse.

I agree with the manual; this is a job for a tech.

I have a Honeywell st9120u1011 11 fan timer Universal board and it is giving me code for 4 flashes on the light indicating the board locked out and you have any advice on what would be wrong with it

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

I have a Hampton Bay Miramar 60 in ceiling fan, when you try to turn it on the upper light just blinks and nothing else happens. You can't even turn the blinking light off. HELP!!!

Turn off the breaker that controls power to the fan. Remove the batteries from the remote and press the buttons in case one is stuck. Reinstall batteries or new ones. Turn on the fan breaker and try using the remote again

Tv will not stay on standby timer light flashing

On Sony the standby or red is for shutdown---

If you unplug the set and plug it back and turn it on and it repeats this look to see if the light is either constantly blinking or blinking a specific number of blinks---specific number would be an error code.

Trying to set my malibu power pack and need directions

That's because you have the timer (dial) mode set to "auto" Turn the dial to "Timer" mode, then follow the directions in the manual. You will also have to set the clock to use the timer mode, again, read the manual.
Here is the instruction manual:

If you are still having trouble, post back with specific questions, as the instructions are rather tedious.

My timer is set to shut off at a certain time of day, and I want to turn the timer off, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can you send instructions on how to turn the timer off?

Honeywell product is not identified.
More information is needed to identify product. Add a comment with as much information as possible, to help expert locate correct information.

For example Honeywell makes timer controls for boiler and heat-ac units.
Honeywell also makes Aube brand wall and box timers for lights and pumps.

Hi, I have a Panasonic split A C, i think the off timer is set in it by mistake but when i 'm trying to cancel the timer ..it is not getting cancellrd. All the time timer light is blinking. Pls...

A fairly quick solution is to turn the unit OFF & unplug it for 15 - 20 minutes. Once the time has elapsed, plug the unit back in & turn the ON/OFF Switch to ON. During that time out, the electronics should have reset and reverted back to the original factory settings. You should now be able to set the controls as you like.

Hope this helps and thanks for Choosing FixYa.

My Sony Trinitron tv is not turning on. It has turned on a couple of times, but the standby light on the front is blinking. WHat's wrong?

Sony TV LED & Blinking Codes - What Does It Mean When Standby/Timer Light Flashes

Sony has provided a "self-diagnosis function" with your TV, that in the case of abnormalities or problems the LED or red blinking light on the Timer/Standby indicator flashes a number of times to indicate the issue.
when there is trouble with your Sony Television set -- it indicates the issue in either the diagnostic mode, or even more commonly by flashing a series of LED blinks or flashes on the front of your television. Each set or frequency of the blinks indicates a very specific problem with the television itself.
Sorry but unless you may be able to repair the television set yourself , please call a local repair shop to the have a repairman sent out,,
