Es8 sullair won't build full pressure

I have a es8-25h sullair that will run at full discharge pressure for a day or two but than it drops off to the point where the other unit kicks on to make up its loss, I've checked over the air filter, checked the inlet valve actuation and all connections what do you suggest would cause this?

SOURCE: coleman compressor no build up of pressure

Parts for coleman are available at www.mastertoolrepair.com your compressor is listed as L0502710. If however you like to tinker, you can make a pretty good reed valve out of aluminum can material or other (any ideas?). It is fairly easy to cut, does not last as long as factory stainless steel, but for short term, why not? Good Luck

SOURCE: Pressure won't build up in tank

Your compressor is the oilless type that incorporates a vinyl/teflon piston ring and a cylinder that is open from the bottom. Remove the cover and push the piston to upmost position. Look for scratches along the upper portion of cylinder. If scratched, compression is leaking thru ring and will not fill tank. Replace with Sears part #k0650 cylinder /piston ring kit to restore full power. While the compressor is apart examing the valve plate and reed valves for wear. If worn replace with part #z-ac-0032. Reed valves tend to crack or loose their shape reducing efficiency. If cylinder and ring are in fair condition, then most likely reed/valve plate is the problem. Good luck and email if you have more questions.

SOURCE: Dewalt 4 gal air compressor will not build pressure in take.

The bleed valve is an unloader of sorts that allows the compressor to start with-out a load. It closes when the pressure in the airline reaches about 20-25lbs with good volume. If air volume is not sufficient, the valve will not close. To solve the problem lets do a few tests. A long cord will reduce power and reduce air volume. Try powering the compressor with-out extension cord. If bleed valve closes when you do not use a cord, the compressor is not getting enough voltage, use shorter cord of the 12 gauge quality and more hose to reach work. If valve still does not close, check for air leaks on all fittings including around pressure switch and drain valve with soapy water. Repair as necessary and retest. If no leaks were found, temporarily plug bleed valve port with screw/bolt and run compressor till set pressure cut-off while counting minuites/seconds. The compressor should fill and shut off within three minutes or so. If it takes an unusually long time to fill, then the reed valves /valve plate is worn and leaking pressure back into cylinger. Leaking valves will usually result in very hot discharge airline/air. Reinstall the bleed valve after test. Parts and partslist are available at www.toolpartsdirect.com . Good luck on the repair and email if you have other questions.

SOURCE: WILL NOT BUILD UP AIR PRESSURE PAST 20 LBS.

Check to see if air is leaking past 'pressure relief' valve. It's probably leaking and that's where all the air is going.

185 sullair 3 blinks any idea why it's dying?

Isn't there a button you hold in until oil pressure recovers when starting, the button is usually next to the starter switch.

I have a sullair 375 compressor and it will not idle. it goes right to operating speed upon starting. I've changed the speed control pressure switch ,didn't help. any clues?

I dont know what you mean in idle ?
Air compressor does not idle like a generator .
Air compressor run until the tank is full then it will shut off for a while and when the pressure drop to about 80 PSI it start again to fill up the max ,
please try to explain better if this is not your problem<

Can a sullair ST1100 air pressure be raised from 127 psi to 130-140 psi

The Shop tech have a option for a high pressure package. (It is just a pulley and thermal valve change) But when you raise the psi you lose some cfm. Contact your sullair dealer.

We relocated our Sullair 3700 about 30m from air receiver, due to excess dust. Now the compressor never stops running, trips on high pressure yet the receiver is not achieving the pressure required

would say dust has done something to do with it
before you had time to move it

will need the compressor serviced

first ..in simple words
to replace the compressor pressure shut off /turn on valve
that should fix the pressure trip build up limit problem

and maybe a partial strip down to clean out the casing
if dust build up is noted

Sullair 185 screw compressor

The sullair 185 has a low oil pressure override button that you have to hold in while starting. after the oil pressure builds up(takes about ten seconds) you can release the button and the machine should continue to run.
