User code.. i have a problem in copier model : nashuatec 3237 when i start the nachine it shows me code... "U_2" i look in the table and it mean : "set kay counter correctly or enter your user code"... what is it?.. i dont have user code... help a anybody. :|

Nashuatec is made by Ricoh.. SC400 means that there is a problem with the fixing unit.

user tools>system settings>admin> address book then select the user and you can scroll down or goto authentication and change the password.
if you cant get into admin try the username administrator with no passowrd or service with no passwrd

Hi, in order to activate the double count for A3 paper, you have to go into "special" SP mode. The procedure is almost the same as going into regular SP mode, but as you hit "Copy SP" on the touch screen, make sure you are holding down the pound (#) key. Then you should be able to find 5104.

You can only change 5104 once, so one you enable it you won't be able to change it back to counting larger paper as 1 click instead of 2.

service program sp-9, mode 90 needs to be set to "0"(off). also, the key counter shorting connector must be removed.

that should disable any key counters.

This didn't happen on it's own. The mode has to be enabled in service mode, as well as a jumper on the MPCB has been cut in order to enable this mode.

You're right, it cross references to a "Ricoh FT4727". You need to press the "." key to read the last 2 digits, however "1xx" codes all relate to the optics section: For example, exposure lamp, scanner motor, lens, etc. You'll need a technician to fix this one.

I do not recognize either of these codes (187 or 387) as part of the Aficio 2015 error list.

If the code is displayed on the screen, physically TURN OFF the copier with the main switch (red switch), wait 10 seconds and turn it back on. If it's an erroneous error, this should reset the error code. NOTE: THE ERROR CODE MUST BE DISPLAYED FOR THIS TO WORK.
