We have lost our instruction manuals for our rc heicopters. is the small tail propellar supposed to spin? we can't get them to liftoff the main propellars seem to be working fine.
Sadly, Bob is incorrect here. In a coaxial helicopter, the main rotors spin in opposite directions, equalizing the centrifugal force and allowing the craft to hover without spinning, fine-tuned by the adjustment of the trim control. The counter-rotating main blades and internal gyroscopes provide a stable hover, while the tail rotor serves only to push the rear of the chopper up or down, providing the forward/backward thrust. If you are not moving the right joystick, you tail rotor should be stationary, or perhaps moving lazily from the wash of the main rotors. Sounds like a charging issue. What type of charger are you using? Also, Li/Po batteries are not meant to be fully discharged. Fully draining a Li/Po too many times, ESPECIALLY when they are new, will ruin them. Luckily the batteries on an 032 are easily replaceable. Available on Amazon and many other online retailers, and replaced in about 1 minute with only a small screwdriver. With a new Li/Po, charge them FULLY with the correct charger, and always stop the flight as soon as you are having to give it full power to maintain altitude. Also CRUCIAL is you MUST MUST MUST let the battery rest and cool for after a flight, wait a good 10 minutes BEFORE you connect the heli to the charger, and another 10 minute cool down after charging before you fly.
Hope this helps
