SOURCE: TV Won't Turn On
I purchased the TV using AMX card 18 month ago. They have an extended 1 year warranty on top of manufactory's. I just have this set repaired: replaced SD board, total charge is $550. I already file a claim and hope to get reimbursed soon.

You are missing 15volts. If this is a new TV, it could be as simple as a plug not fully seated on the power supply. Regardless, the repair should be covered by warranty and Panasonic is one of the best when it comes to taking care of the customer. Ifd nI can be of further assistance, let me know

1. Reseating the connector P25 may solve the problem. If it does not.
2. Unplug the unit andd disconnect the connectors A5, A6, and A7. Apply power to the TV. If a White screen comes up and all voltages check normal, replace the P board.
3. If the TV stays on after isolating the SC board, then replace the SC board and the D board; it is likely that the fuse on the D board is blown.

Ur tv power supply board it defective,it have dead parts call capacitors.U know basic electronnic's and soldering?Take ur tv aparts, where the a/c power cord go into it.That ur power supply board, searches all around the power supply board and it supporting boards.Look for these dead gases leakage capacitors, they all have bulges on it top or puff up on it top.Replaced these dead gases lekages capacitors, will get ur tv power back, stable and work.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Unfortunately this appears to be a common issue developing with these Panasonic sets i.e the '7 blinks of death'!
Several customers are complaining about it. The problem is caused by one, both, or all of the following boards: SC board, SD board, and SU board.
Most commonly, the SC board is the one that has failed and because Panasonic have received so many complaints about this issue they are now agreeing to replace the SC board under extended warranty.
However this is not widely known amongst the general public and Panasonic have kept it very quiet.
I would suggest that you make contact with the Panasonic Concierge service centre. Make them aware that you are aware of the SC board issue and that there is an extended warranty on this and ask them to replace it.
However if it happens that one of the other boards has failed be aware that Panasonic are not covering these under warranty and you will be charged for the repair in this case.
The Panasonic Concierge service is available from here
Thanks for using FixYa.
