You have got to pull the black clip off then take needle nose pliers or regular pliers and squeeze the two clips on the green clip then it will slide out
Very easy on these. There are 2 screws at the bottom of the panel just under and to the sides of the ash tray ( black phillips head ). Once those are removed, the top snaps into place. 4 screws hold in the radio from there.
The document feeder on this printer is extremely delicate and very finicky. I have 8 of these printers and 5 of them exibited the same issue. Open the document feeder and rotate the pickup backward with the green lever. The paper sensor has to be snapped in on both sides. It is the one thing that keeps popping out on all of mine. The sensor is the piece that floats up and down between the gears and has a green flag that lowers the capstan down to contact the paper. Good luck, but I have a feeling these are nothing but the regular old JUNK that hP seems to be pushing on us now...LOL!
There is a crank tool in the black bag that is with the spare tire. The tool is hooked on one end and it slips through the back of the truck under the tailgate and above the bumper that you wind down and the tire is hooked by a chain. If it is frozen then you will need to cut the end off of the piece that holds the tire against the bottom of the bed.
The Sharp AL1631 takes a Sharp AL 100TD cartridge (hi-yield), or a Sharp AL 110TD cartridge (standard yield). IBS still has them, there phone number is 800-8810226.
The drawer separator pawls (metal taps on the right side of tray where paper touches)
Paper backstop not in or in wrong spot (green plastic piece at back of paper)
Feed tires are worn or dirty
Does the copier try and feed from tray 2? If it tries but the paper doesn't leave the try look and see if there is a dark mark on the page (top middle towards the right). If so then most likely the feed tire is worn.
One black wire on the switch hooked to the black sources wire. The other black wire on the switch hooked black up to the fan. The green on the switch wire goes to the bare wire. If there is bare wire you can use the white wire.
