SOURCE: Indesit front loading washing machine error code

i am a recently retired engineer of 20 years, but this sounds like (based on the info given) a heater element fault, after the machine fills up and agitates a few times the heater should start, check the heater for open circuit, replace if needed, of course it just could be a wire off? if i have helped rate me please

SOURCE: The fabric softner is not going into my washing machine

hi there just try washing the complete soap drawer again in boiling water leave in there for 10minutes to let the hot water work into the gaps and make sure u take all the holders out of the drawer u sometimes have to use a tooth brush to get into the small holes at the bottom of the little funnel what your softener holder goes over also get a small flat blade screwdriver and clean inside that funnel if thats not clean it will stop softener from going away if this doesnt work still then when your softener is supposed to be taken thru the programme make sure the washer opens the valve for the water to go into the fabric softener holder if it doesnt then the solenoid will need replacing as this could be faulty. LET ME KNOWHOW U GET ON PLEASE PETER

SOURCE: f-02 fault code on indesit we16 washing machine

For what it is worth my WE16 often stops with an F-02 display within 3 minutes of starting, but only in summer months. Powering off and restarting usually cures it, and it will then go on to run several loads without problem. I keep the machine in my cellar boiler room, and attribute the problem to high humidity when the boiler is not running. Changing the PCB does not cure the problem, nor does protecting it against humidity (eg poly bad and silica gel). I conclude that moisture getting somewhere unexpected (tacho perhaps?) can cause this error.

How to turn on child lock wash machine indesit innex xwsc 61251 ?

The Innex XWSC 61251 does not have a Child Lock or Control Panel Lock feature. The only way to completely disable the washer buttons would be to unplug the unit. The manual is available on the product page: http://www.indesit.co.uk/appliances_i/Washing_Machine_XWSC_61251_W/pid_F085657UK/40.do . The direct link to the manual is http://www.indesit.co.uk/indesit/_pdf/manuals/19512007300_GB.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Hiya i have a indisit ( silver ) evolution washing machine, and recently all the washing power has not been goin away ???? what i sthe cause of this ?? so i recently bought some liquid laindry to try that...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

My daughter has a cold fill only Indesit so I can tell you without sending my other guidance notes!
1 is for pre-wash (LHS), 2 is main wash (middle and bigger) and you are right with 3; that's for the conditioner.
I would suggest giving the whole detergent dispenser a good clean. Here are my complete, general, pre-typed (!) guidance notes. Note the second way to remove the dispenser in particular---->

Remove the complete drawer. To do this you will have to do one of the following-
  • Top catch- push down the lip/catch at the middle rear and pull the drawer out (that's how our Bosch one is removed)
  • release the catches underneath (our daughter's Indesit) or
  • lift upwards on the tray as it is coming out to clear the lip underneath.
One of these should enable you remove it
(I am having to guess some of the following!)
Once out identify which tray is for the conditioner- the others are simply 'chutes' and open-ended.
It will normally have some sort of cover over it which you must remove to expose the little stuck up pipe/tube. On some models there is just a small individual cap over the tube. The tube is down which the conditioner and water should siphon. It is likely to be blocked by 'gunge'- a mix of powder and conditioner. The whole of the tray, particularly this pipe and the bit which fits over it, must be completely clean and clear for it to operate correctly. It is worthwhile checking fairly regularly.

If this hasn't helped I suggest you pull the dispenser a little way out, start a main wash and see if water pours into the main wash tray as it should or if it just trickles in. If it does the latter there is a problem with the water inlet valve- I presume it's a cold fill only? This requires a service call ;-0(
Good luck,
John C

Cheers,
John C

The fabric conditioner container in the washing machine is always full of water after a wash

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

What follows is my 'standard' reply document for this type of problem, slightly modified for your problem then copied and pasted!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Although you do not say which model it is, this is a common problem with many machines.
I suspect that it is 'gunge' in the conditioner/softener tray which is causing water to remain so it needs a thorough clean!
