Use a 1" paintbrush and a vacuum cleaner hose. Then use a compressed air can to clear the fins on the heatsink also with the suction. It is also better to remove the fan, clean the underside and then spray it with dry silicone spray.
The best way to clean dust from your PC fans and CPU cooler is to use compressed air. You can buy cans of compressed air from any electronics store or online. Before you start, make sure you turn off your PC and unplug it from the power source. Mar 10, 2023
that is not an issue, it may be the default setting for your machine. you should check with the manufacturer/retailer whether this is so. If you wish to change there must be an option to do so. They will be able to inform you how to alter this setting no doubt.
In order for you to clear the CMOS, you will need to open the computer by removing the cover of the desktop. Now, look for the battery on the system board. Once you find it, you will see a jumper with 3 pins. Take the jumper off and reseat it on the 2nd and 3rd pins. Pull the battery out of the computer and then turn on the computer. Now turn off the computer, replace the battery and put the jumper back into place. Turn the computer back on and the CMOS should be cleared.
what u may have done is wwhen u were installing the new board, gave a static shock to the system...that will cause only the fans to come on and nothing more...this is a bad problem bc u cannot fix it...if u figure out something else is wrong, and it gets fixed, let me know
I've got the 565 and everything will be working fine and then the depth
finder or bottom of the lake goes to 6ft. Have to shut it off for an hour and it works for a wile but it always goes back to doing it
anything I can do?
Thanks Jeff
