Check to see if you have a circuit breaker tripped in the breaker panel. If not a breaker, then there may be loose wire on a breaker. or on a receptacle. You may need an electrician.

I have a sky hd+ box in my lounge and wish to make the sky work in my bedroom, I am happy to only watch what is on the lounge tv in the bedroom (not have multi room) thanks Nigel

Run a coax cable from the sky hd+ box at the rear from the RF2 coax port, and into tv in bedroom.
If you want to change channels, buy a magic eye from eBay for a couple pounds, enter sky settings, and turn power on to the RF2 output. this will supply your coax to bedroom with 9v which will power your magic rye

Circuit breaker is fine but still no power on one bedroom. PG&E said it might be a bad plug/outlet.

Turn off the circuit breaker and locate the plugs that are on that circuit. There is a good chance that the problem is between the closest working and faulty outlet. Starting with what appears to be the last working outlet on the circuit, check that all the wires are secure in all the fixtures and outlets.
If that does not fix the problem, a varmint may have chewed through a wire inside the wall. If you do not have experience with home wiring, you should get an electrician.

The one that does not work: have you tried to unplug it for a while from power and plug it back to see if it will reboot and allow you to program?

I have 110 voltage to all circuit breakers but no power to outlets in 2 bedrooms .

Check at the output side of the breakers with a voltmeter. Make sure that a white neutral wire didn't get hooked to a breaker. You may need to pull the outlets in the bedrooms to see if they are wired correctly. Good luck!

I have a circuit breaker that is intermittent

It is unlikely that those temperatures would cause the circuit breaker to shut off and come back on intermittently. (If the breaker trips it has to be reset manually.) It is possible that the breaker is defective internally or that there is a loose connection in the wiring. If you are not knowledgeable about electrical work you should have an electrician check it out for you.

I share a TV antenna with my neighbour. there are three splitters in the line - one to give an output to a next door bedroom TV, a second gives a signal to their lounge TV with th other leg continuing to...

I suspect there is a Mast Head Amplifier to supply enough signal to split so many ways and the power supply is powered from the power socket supplying the neighbours TV. Switch it off and no/poor signal.

Linear equations

This question is strangely worded and does not pertain to floppy drives. However, taking all information here as given and sufficient enough to form the equations, you arrive at the following:
X=Y+60

60(3.25) = 195 One tenant must pay $195 more for his extra 60square ft.
(975-195)/2=390 The remaining rent (assuming the given info is all that is needed to solve)
390/3.25=120 is divided between the two and represents the rent of the smaller bedroom.
y=120 sq ft The rent of the smaller room holder is divided by $3.25 to reach the sq ft.
so,
x=180 sq ft
