After awhile it started back up but all it does it continuously restart over & over & over and never leavs the "loading screen" where it just says "Samsung". I don't know what to do & cannot use my phone now. I tried taking the battery out overnite - put it back in still doing the same thing. HELP!!!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Samsung Katalyst

"mwright35" this is exactly not your same case but it is definetly the same than "remembermeil."

I got my phone wet and aftre drying it turned on but the on/off button was not working. My phone got discharged and then I thought I had lost my phone. Here is what I did and then my pone turned on, but I am not 100% positive this will work since I don't wanna try again.

Solution:

Take a part the phone, including the "motherboard." This is very easy to do, you only need a small screwdriver. Here is the important part: Unhook the motherboard from the LCD display. I think that when you do that something resets itself. After, when you put it back together including the charged battery and everything, the phone will turn on by itself.

SOURCE: Motorola Rival Keeps Restarting Itself

My rival has this problem now. The last two I went through both had displays go bad and render nothing but white screens. I only got the first one about a year and a half ago. The only permanent solution is to buy a non-motorola phone. The rival is a total lemon.

I also have the exact same problem.
However, you don't need to take out the battery to re-power on the phone. Just hold the power button for a longer time (about 10 seconds). The screen will light up and the device will reboot.

Take the phone into your provider to see what's going on. It might be a software setting, and they will know how to change it.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Lost my contacts etc on galaxy rush

Were they saved as "phone" contacts, or were they backes to a Google/GMail account? If they were backed up, you can simply tell it to sync, and it will restore them. If they were only saved to the phone, they are probably gone.
Sorry. Good luck. :-(

HOW TO BYPASS LOCK SCREEN GALEXY RUSH FROM SAMSUNG

There are 3 solutions to this. Options A and B are the easiest. Option C requires some technical know-how. Please read all 3 before continuing.

A. When you have phone connected to your Google Account and Anti-theft setup:
  1. Go to https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager
  2. Sign in with the same Google credentials as used on your phone.
  3. Select your mobile device on top left.
  4. Click on Lock and set a new pin/ password for your phone.

B. Factory reset your phone. CAUTION!: you will lose your data. Most will be recovered when you have a Google account setup on the phone before.
  1. Turn of the device.
  2. Press the Volume up button and hold it.
  3. While holding Volume up, press the Power On and keep both pressed until the bootlogo appears.
  4. Navigate to Factory Reset with Volume Up and/or Down.
  5. Select Factory Reset with the Power button.

C. When you have USB Debug enabled and rooted your phone, follow these instructions @ XDA-Developers.
