- I have the same problem on my Toshiba 42PH95. It is 3 years old. I bought the schematics, which are very weak, since they leave out the Power Supply. It appears to the center of the issue, made by Senseng (spelling?) part no PSC10131F. Discount-Merchant.com had this part but 0 stock now. I am an electronic technician, but not on TVs so I followed the power on circuit. 5volts is present at the power switch and switches when the button is depressed. It goes via a few connecters to a logic board and switches there into a chip (gate array) many ins and many outs. But no outs respond.My actual problem is a little different in that I grt no flashing Red Led on the front, just some relay clicks when power is plugged in and no response when the power on/off switch is depressed or same with the remote on/off, nothing.
AC fuse is good, power gets to the power board. 5 volts and 3.3 volts are present. I disconnected the Sein board per a few posts, but no help.
I hope this might help someone, and I will let you all know if I get a resolution.

- I have the same problem here. The 50" plasma Toshiba just keep trying to turn on it self (for like every 3 to 5 second, it turns on and for every 3 - 5 it turns off, and I did not touch anything). I hope there is a solution before I ship the thing to service.- GuestSolution #1

YOU HAD TO CHECK POWER CORD IF ITS NOT THEN YOU HAD TO CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT A FUSE

Hitachi 32LD8D20 just stopped working whilst playing on XBOX. Red light on the front of the tv is still on but no image is being displayed. All leads and cables are still plugged in. ONly 6 months old

purchased tv on 7/30/2007. less than 6 months old, cycles through trying to turn on over and over again.

We have had are tv for 13 months and it worked fine until now. When you go to turn on the tv with the cable remote to turn everything on, the tv will not turn on now and if thats not enough the volume wont work either by remote control. Please help. We have tried new batteries, a new remote, the original remote to the tv and nothing has helped so far. Please Help.
