Question about Samsung LN46B530 LCD TV
I gotta a lightnigs like line on my samsung tv. Looks like magic wand effect in photoshop. Colored in purple and green, mostly seen on faces on tv and appers only on left side of the screen. Please help.
Must be of a back-light problem. Contact any service technician. This is not a user repairable fault.

I just had my lower Y-buffer board swapped out to fix a problem similar to yours. After an hour and a half of on-time, the lower half of the screen would flicker on and off with the same appearance you mentioned. Changing out this particular board fixed it for me. However, since it has gone from top to bottom on your set, it may be more of a main board problem for you (that controls both upper and lower halves). Beyond this, I don't know any more. I am considering getting a service manual to gain more knowledge about the various PCBs in the unit so I can fix any future problems myself.

SOURCE: Static lines one screen
as the top is ok and the bottom has this issue.
It looks like the circuit board has a bad connection to your screen.
it is not repairable by you and not an adjustment.
you need to have it repaired.
don't you miss the old wack on the side fix?

Horizontal or vertical bars on the screen could be from an ac line interference, adjacent magnetic field, bad input wire connections.....especially HDMI connector cables. A bad HDMI cable causes all kinds of unwanted picture interference. Check the conditon of all connection wires for proper fit and function. Keep in mind the method in which you connect your tv will result how the tv performs. As well this line problem could be a circuit issue too, requiring a technician to look at it.

SOURCE: Vertical lines in LCD tv screen
Need to check the two things.
1st -- need to exchange T-con Board.
2nd -- need to exchange the cables between T-con & LCD panel or
between T-con & Main(LVDS cable)
