How to change light in oven westinghouse florentine

Turn off the power to the oven. Grip the glass light cover and turn anti-clockwise. I think the lamp then unscrews.
Replace lamp, turn on power and check if lamp lights up, replace cover twist clockwise to fasten.

Both oven lights out

Are you buying hi quality oven grade lamps for this purpose that'll take the intense heat inside an oven? I wonder if they're halogen or tungsten filament lamps. Defective solder, frosty joints and/or ring fractures on lamp driving areas of a circuit board ARE indeed capable of causing problems with lamps.

I have an Indesit oven model FIE 36 K.B GB, I need to replace the bulb but I'm struggling to get the glass lamp protector off. I've looked in the manual and it says it should just twist off but all...

A common problem with some oven manufacturers I'm afraid. The screw thread of the glass almost welds itself to the metal casing it screws into.

It will turn and you can remove it. However, the easiest way is to get leverage on the glass. This is best done by using a Baby Boa Strap Wrench, which you can pick up for a few pounds in a DIY store. I have removed many apparantly stuck round glass oven lamp covers in this way.

Built in oven no power but cook top is working

Is this a range with the oven in the bottom and the hot plates on top. If so does it have an electronic timer/clock. If it does the electronic timer must be set to manual for the oven to work. If unsure turn the oven on and then adjust the mode control on the timer. If it is set to auto now and you can get it to manual the oven indicator lamp should light and the oven should work.
If it is a separate oven and cooktop there may be a separate power supply for the oven at the switchboard.

Looking for a manual for Whirlpool BS0801/WH oven

I have a paper copy of the manual - if you need to know anything more than the information below post a more specific question.

The function symbols on Knob F, clockwise from the top, are as follows:
  • 0 = Off
  • Lamp symbol = Lamp Only, no fan, no heating.
  • Fan + Drip Symbol = Lamp + Fan, but no Heating - this is for defrosting.
  • Fan inside a Circle symbol = Lamp + Fan + Oven Heating - this is the normal cooking position. The temperature of the oven is set on the Temperature Knob.
  • Final position = Grill. The temperature of the Grill is set on the Grill knob.
The red indicator light only comes on when the Oven is heating (not the Grill), and goes off when the oven has reached it's set temperature.

The bulb is 25W 230V Type E-14 300 Degree C.

The oven draws a maximum of 2300W so requires a 10A supply.

How do I remove the oven lamp assembly and replace

make sure you have voltage to your switch, it may be that you have a bad switch. If you have power to the switch make sure you have power to the light from the switch. If so its your socket. my light is in the back of the oven if yours is that way you'll have to pull the stove out and take the back off to get to the socket.
