Check the module that controls the agitation of the motor. It is found in the control panel and if it fails the motor has no agitation action. have a washing machine check it out.

    What is the module??

  • Bill Boyd Jul 14, 2013

The module is a small electrical component that is sealed and has electronic componentry inside that determines the motor direction. It continually reverses the motor to produce the agitation action. As I said have a machine mechanic check it out.

Softener tray is not draining during wash cycle

This tray empties during the spin cycle not wash cycle. Is the agitator spinning during the spin cycle? If so, you are getting softener on clothes during this cycle as required.

Sounds like clutch not catching, this may need to bed in .The fact it works okay with no load and no spin with load sounds like clutch/ but also could be motor torque.Ask repair man to recheck work done.

Its spinning but the water is not draining away and the clothes are still wringing wet

This usually indicated a problem with the pump. There is a belt which turns the agitator, spins the drum, and turns the pump, which is what removes the water. Since the agitator works and the drum spins, the pump is probably faulty.

My Frigidaire Commercial Series FCCW3000FS 27" Coin Operated Front-Load Washer will not agitate or spin clothes out. Please HELP!

You should check your serial number at this link:http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml09/09292.html

There was a voluntary recall issued on your model number. The serial number will confirm if your machine is affected.

As to your problem, i would still suspect drain pump is struggling or inoperable. However if it seems to drain ok and your pump is still relatively quiet except for a nice mellow steady hum (there should be no rattling sound) then i'd take a look at the pressure switch. The pressure switch sends the signal to begin agitation (water level in tub is full) and spin (water in tub is drained.)

Wash cycle is fine and agitates. On spin cycle, it does not spin fast enough to get all the water out of the clothes and sometimes needs help to even start spinning. Clutch?

if it is a 110 mod made by whirlpool it would have a nuetral drain gearcase meaning it drains before it spins if the unit is draining and spinning at the same time/that will put xtra work on the clutch causing it to burn out early /you can just replace the clutch and it will last for a while but to really repair it gearcase and clutch is the way to go. if it has no nutral drain.

I have a quiet series 100 and clothes are soaked after final spin cycle. drum spins but agitator is stopping and starting. Only one time in about 10 will it ever get up to full spin speed. How do I fix...

This could have something to do with water not draining properly and slowing the drum down. Check the drain hose position and see if it's emptying the water out properly. Your machine may have an internal filter that could be cleaned. Then there's all the things that could be wrong with the gearbox, motor, electronics, etc. If it's not a draining issue it'd probably be better to let a professional work on it for you.
