My JPS-10 works okay but emits a low frequency farting noise about every ten minutes, sound lasts about 3 seconds and occurs whether the Onkyo Surround Sound Amp is powered up or not.
Do a more detailed search there is a solution but you will have to send it out to get repaired the noise is from when it goes on stand by...jensen is of no help

Why am I hearing a clicking/static noise coming out of my home theatre speakers? It started out when I would use a DVD, but now it seems to be happening when I watch the TV in general.

I need to replace capacitor C103 in the Jensen JPS10 subwoofer. Can anyone identify this component for me, or point me to the schematic? It's a grey plastic rectangular capacitor, apparently without identifying marks. Two similar components are labeled 63V, .18J and 1J88 respectively. All these are on the smaller component board, which seems to be an active cross-over. many thanks Martin
