SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Find out if someone is a scammer

Well it's hard to find out, because scammers job is to mask itself as honest person. And their actions are well thought and studied in advanced. To catch one in scamming you have to be better at the game than they are, so that you know what does it mean what is they offering to you (example: if someone is offering you an Iphone for 100€, when lowest price out there is 300, chances are, they aren't buying one for 300 and then selling it to you for 100).

Or you need to know something about the nature of business (business practice), like if someone is selling new Oakley glasses, when in fact Oakley doesn't sell their glasses threw third parties.

As person them self is the hardest. You need to do your home work as it is said. Check personal info, history, background etc. Even big agencies and private detectives doesn't always get it right. That's how hard it can be. Especially if one is professional. For amateurs you can catch, by asking a lot of questions and checking for inconsistencies or contradictions. Also you can choose options that they are not prepared for (I will pay threw pay pall; Ok, give me email and I will send you transfer request; Request, what, how .... request!?!!).

These are just few most common ones. However there are unlimited options in the field and that's what makes it interesting.

I have a holden vt and the airbag light don't work they checked and said no glob faulty can I have it removed if not is it expensive to fix they said the whole dash needs to come out they wont pass...

rock and hard place
you only have a few choices,
1: DIY
2: sell it
3: scrap it. (sell each part on fleabay and be rich)
4: or let honda fix it.
it is your choice,

if this is a DIY question and not a GUESS game.
then, read the FSM. read the pages on air bags
its all clear, what to do .... every step.
this is true for all cars.
ill post rule 1 now.
never work on bags (touch parts or related wires)
until you do the FSM bag defeat procedure , we have many folks killed or maimed buy not RTM not reading the manual or doing the steps stated so clearly.
It can snap a persons neck or your helpers. easy. in range of bag.

drive to honda, at the parts window say FSM for Pilot.
bingo. the factory service manual.

the roadworth guys are well trained and fooling them is not going to happen.

cost varies by what is bad, and who fixes it and if new or used parts are installed, and city you are in, costs vary by city .
and whats expensive to you, may be pocket change to others.
nobody knows
you must fix it or sell it.
in some places in uSA, you cant even sell it, "calif'

Is selling online or selling offline better?

You know that the single most powerful way of eliminating sales pressure is through authentic language - in other words, replacing traditional sales language with the most natural dialogue possible, which creates almost instant trust between two strangers.
This is exactly where online selling differs from person-to-person "offline" selling. In selling online, you don't have the opportunity for that natural two-way dialogue. People come to your site and are exposed to a one-way reading of your message, which can feel impersonal. It's easier than you might think to solve the problems of one-way communication, impersonality, and lack of trust.
All you have to do is put yourself in the position of your site visitor, articulate their specific issues or problems, and gently offer solutions that they can choose without feeling as if they are being "sold."

My 2 year old threw an iron man toy and busted my 42 inch rca lcd tv screen. Can it be replaced?

if the screen broke, you need a whole new lcd panel and that costs as much as a new tv. I would sell it to a tv repair person or sell it for parts on ebay. you can also part it out yourself and sell the parts individually. Look for a local buyer on craigslist, usually someone on there is parting out tvs and monitors

We have an old Wards oil furnace that we want to sell

actually a used furnace, especially an oil one isn't worth a whole lot, except to the right person. I would suggest "Craigslist" $100.00 maybe?

Factory settings?

1. If you use the system recovery and go into advanced, it will erase all personal data and all programs installed, putting it back to the way it was when you first purchased the computer.
2. To get to the system recovery on an hp, you press the key that is indicated during bootup, either F10 for older ones or F11 on the newer ones. It will boot into the recovery mode from where you select the advanced option. It will give you a warning that all your personal information will be gone.

Thank you and please take a moment to rate as fixya. Thanks.
