Xerox system error


If you are using a Xerox printer, you might have faced a system error problem, similar to "System error 09.038.46:113334" or something within that line.

I faced a similar error message like this a few months ago and i solved it using the following steps.

The ink count sensor flags were stuck.
Verify that the ink is correct and genuine and then reset the system and error message by performing the following steps:

1- Turn on the printer
2- Wait for the xerox logo to begin moving across the display
3- Before the logo is centered on the display (stops moving) press and hold the "back" and "help" buttons on the control panel.
4- Hold both buttons until the display reads "beginning service mode initialization".Release the buttons and the printer reboots into service mode with the "Service Diagnostics" menu displayed
5- Then scroll until you find function menu then click "OK"
6- Scroll until you find "Clear ISC" fault and press "OK"
7- Click back several times and then reboot the machine.

If you follow these exact steps your problem should be solved.

I have Matrix webcam and no driver.

Xerox 8860 stuck at Test Complete Initialize


The Hidden Service menu provides access to information pages and tests for diagnosing and correcting system malfunctions and accessing special features.
Access the Hidden Service menu as follows:
1. From the System Setup menu, go to Information --> Troubleshooting --> Service Tools menu.
2. With the cursor at the top of the Service Tools menu, press both the Up Arrow and Down Arrow buttons to display the Hidden Service menu

Reset the NVRAM:

Resets the system back to default settings and clears all network settings. If possible, print the Configuration page before resetting NVRAM.

Changed cartridge and still the print is very dim why?


Laser unit on the printer is dirt. Must be cleaned with cloth and alcohol, but first have to disassemble.

I found some thing maybe do for you it may not be rhe right code you have at this moment but it come in handy for you.

31,004.40:6909: it's a mechanical initialization jam error. Pull out the paper tray to make sure it doesn't have a jam. Try also to manually feed some heavy paper or card stock through the printer to make sure the sensor in the preheater isn't stuck.

39,002.40 : DRAM test failure.

39,012.40:56208: "Cycle the power" and if that does not work replace the document feeder.

39,012.41: Document Feeder Optical Failure. Replace the document feeder.

4,0XX.6x: Process Control Software Fault.

· Reset NVRAM and then retest.
· Ensure ground integrity for the system
· Replace the EEPROM chip.
· Reboot the system.
· From the System Setup menu, go to "Information", "Troubleshooting"
· Service Tools menu.
· With the cursor at the top of the Service Tools menu, press both the Up Arrow
· and Down Arrow buttons to display the Hidden Service menu.
· Reset NVRAM is in there.

Solution 1:

a. Reset NVRAM and then retest.
b. Ensure ground integrity for the system.
c. Replace the EEPROM chip.
d. Reboot the system.

3. Before the logo is centered on the display, press and hold the Back and Info buttons on the control panel.
4. Hold both buttons until the display reads “Beginning Service Mode Initialization”. Release the buttons and the system reboots into service mode with the Service Diagnostics menu displayed. XEROX Phaser 8560MFP won't go past "initializing?"


Disconnect the data cable between the Electronics Module and the Printhead to see if Power On Self Test (POST) gets further, to the point where it displays a system failure code relating to the Printhead being disconnected. If so, replace defective printhead.
