The first thing to check is if you have 240 Volts going into the dryer. The display, lights, and motor run on 120 Volt but you need 240 V for the element.

Your heater elements may be bad and need replacement. Is it an electric dryer? If so electric dryers run a dual breaker, this means 120 volts on one side of the breaker runs the motor, the other side of the breakers runs the heater coils. Its possible the heater side of the breaker has tripped. Try turning off the breaker for 20 seconds or so then reset. 220 volt breakers can trip on one side and not the other.
