Question about Computers & Internet
I unplugged my s3713w last night and this morning when I plugged it back in It will not turn on. There is a little green LED light that comes on in the back next to the power cord port but when the main power button is pushed nothing happens, no sound or anything

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

pull out everything in the computer except what's required to boot...so any pci cards or video cards (if you have onboard video). you can also try pulling out the ram (while unpowered AND unplugged) and then booting to hear beeps...if you pull the ram out and the computer doesnt make a sound, its probably a bad motherboard and needs to be replaced. if you hear beeps, try replacing the ram or disconnecting other parts...like harddrives, optical drives, modems and what not.

To resolve this issue you may need to open the chassis (the computer cabinet). You can call HP specialized support for help but they charge you for the support. You can call them at 866-211-5207.
OR - Follow the given steps.
Perform the following steps, in order, until power is restored or it is determined that there is a hardware failure: CAUTION: This product contains components that are easily damaged by ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD). To reduce the chance of ESD damage, work over a non-carpeted floor, use a static dissipative work surface (like a conductive foam pad), and wear an ESD wrist strap that is connected to a grounded surface, like the metal frame of a PC.

SOURCE: my "hp pavilion a220n" won't
Check all wires for loose connections--- if the memory was wrong or something, it would still attempt to boot but stop during the POST and start to beep
