I download all of my rintones off the internet, or I will make my own on the internet, and save them in a "Ringtones" folder, on my computer. Then I connect the phone (with the SD card in the phone) to the computer with the USB cable, and set the phone as a storage drive. I move my folders from my computer onto the phone, and then disconnect the phone from the computer. However, although saved in my SD card (in a "Ringtones" folder), I cannot set the ringtones as ringers! I can only play them in my media player! I don't understand! I press the down arrow on the phone, then go to "Ringers", but it doesn't show! It just says "Get New". Then I will go to Contacts, and choose any contact>edit entry>default ringer>downloads>but it says no ringer file! I don't understand! Please help me!
I have also tried just inserting the SD Card itself into my computer and moving the folder into the SD Card, and then re-inserting it into my phone! But I still get the exact same results!
My ringers are all saved as MP3 formats, and I have been researching, going to hundreds of different websites, googling as many different variations of my problems as possible, but nothing! Please help me! Thank you! I also don't have a texting plan, or any sort of data package, so I can't use the internet on my phone! Please help me! Thanks, again!
Well if u have internet on your phone you could try buying ONE ringtone and one that ringtone is installed a new folder will come into existance. i think its caled my contestant of something. Anyways, try connecting ure phone to your pc and from then on, all songs u downlaod should become a ringtone if put into that folder. Just a guess though. try it
