I need someone to repair a pre-war bisque baby doll

There you will find a form you can complete to send as an email. You can ask about reattaching the doll's leg in the message.

Another option is to find a doll hospital / doll repair business in your area and take the doll there for repair.

If you have to ship the doll somewhere for repair or take it to a doll hospital, I advise you remove all the doll's clothing and keep it, so that it will not accidentally be mislaid or damaged during repair work.

Personal experience: The doll leg is probably held on with some kind of rubber band and a "hook" inside the doll, which attaches to the rubber band. Without the proper kind of tool, it is a challenge to reconnect the rubber band to the hook.

Is this about the baby alive toys? If so:
It might be because either the wiring inside has been cut and it won't move because of it. Or it is because it might have been smashed against something. Best thing to do is to go to a doll hospital / doll repair shop and ask them to fix it. Make sure you keep your doll clothes with you because it might get damaged while they try to fix it. Or if still wont work, bring it back and get a refund for it and buy another.

is this a doll that eats and (poops?)..the mouth is an upper hole and the lower hole should be a spot under the main body..if food particles are inside the dolls' body may need a tool like the old water pic flossing macine to clean it out..it is possible to redo a small garden sprayers tip/nozzle to accomodate cleanout of this doll..catch is to find some sort of presurized hose tip to put in the mouth cavity to clean out the body of residue..if that is what is happening..

We had the same problem a few months ago. We even bought another dummy, but it did not help. Then we found the solution by ourselves. My daughter took her baby born to her bath and we put her into the water. Then I pressed ******* the face for water to go inside through the eyes many times. After I did it a few times with a lot of water the doll start to close and open her eyes again with her dummy. I do not know for what reason but eyes start to stick inside. I believe it may be because of the food, or dust. Maybe not. However from my observations it happen when we did not bathe her for a long time.

I would take all the clothes off. Next I would wrap her/him in a towel and last I would wet a SOFT wash cloth and gently wipe her down

To fix this problem, you need to do the following: Use two small magnets and place them on the eyes. The eyes should open when you put the magnets over them, if not then slowly move the magnets around until the eyes are open. Lay the magnets down (with eyes open). Tape them in place if necessary. Leave them for 24 to 48 hours. When removed the eyes should be open. To prevent this from happening again, make sure the doll's eyes are dry before putting in the naptime pacifier.

I honestly never heard of anybody having this problem before and never heard of smaller size pressure feet. One way of avoiding the problem altogether may be to finish the cuff before you sew up the arm seam ( you can also finish the side seam of the body and arm seam in one "stretch"). Using this method, you can finish the cuff with the whole arm lying flat. I haven't sewn baby or doll clothes for a long time myself though, can't remember having any problems though. I remember having a challenge finishing sleeves on a toy dog rain suit though (much smaller than a baby sleeve), but that I handled in the way above, I opened the sleeve seams, finished the hem with elastic, then did the arm seam again.
