Question about Garden
Riding mower: blade engages and works fine until you drop the deck to 2 or lower, then the blades no longer spin and it doesn't cut. Raise the deck, the blade engage again. The higher you raise it, the stronger the blade spins.
Sounds like wrong belt you raise it belts tighter lower belts looser or the tensioner has come loose

You may want to check the gas cap to see if it clogged with dirt. If the gas cap is clear, you more than likely have a carburetor problem. If you need tips on carb. cleaning, feel free to ask.

Bet on it- you might try adding an additional nut of the right size/thread or several washers to utilize the remaining healthy threads.
