Chrysler Concorde 99' radio fuse constantly blowing

So... somewhere I goofed yesterday installing and amplifier. Everything in my audio system is stock and wanted to enhance the sound but only a little. Once I got the amp hooked up, powered on the radio and only my from speakers had sound. Played around w/the gain and frequency on the amp and now I have no sound in any speaker and worst of all, my radio comes on but no sound. Checked the fuse panel, fuse 18 blown. I went to buy more and soon as I put em in, they all blew the second I turned the car on and its a yellow fuse that burns to turn bright orange/red. Please help

I appreciate all the answers everyone gave. Defeat was apparent but I pushed to figure this out and yup, Shadycheeba came the closest. What happened is the factory amp blew so no sound. Bought a new radio (JVC) and had to do a bypass for each speaker (6 total)... it worked!!!!! this project of mines is to be continued. I've got another question to post (smh)

Everything isn't stock. The amplifier isn't stock. Is the radio stock? If so what are you using for remote "on" to the amp? Start there.

SOURCE: Anyway to bypass my Bose Amplifier

not too sure what you are trying to do but just buy a aftermarket deck..for example for 100 bucks jvc has a nice deck with remote that plays mp3 and even has a jack right on the faceplate for a mp3 player.then throw your subs in the trunk hook up the amp and bingo banging beat.if u have the aruroa with the battery under the back seat its even easier

SOURCE: No sound out of left side speakers, front and back.

easiest way to see if the left outputs have gone is to swap the right and left speakers over. if the left works out of the right channels you know if the set has had it.hope this helps

SOURCE: 99 Chrysler Concorde electrical problem

probably a relay. relays control switching of power from one compound circuit to another. because you have multiple circuits that are not working, this sounds likely. get a wiring schematic and find out which relay controls that system, then try replacing it.

Installed a Sony Xplode into a 99 Blazer and everything on the radio works but will not play through the speakers

The Bose system is complex - it has an amplifier separate from the Bose compatible radio. This amplifier takes low level audio signals from the radio, not full driver outputs from a replacement radio, and by trying to use the replacement radio you may have blown the amplifier. If that is the case, you may not be able to go back to the original radio.
The only option you may have with the replacement will be to find the Bose amplifier and bypass the connections to feed the replacement radio outputs directly to the speakers. This may not be as simple as it sounds, as distribution to the various speakers comes from the amplifier, not the radio, and the wiring from the amplifier to the radio may not have all the wires you need. Before going on, you had better get a wiring diagram for the Bose system (service manual or Alldatadiy.com).

I change fuses, radio still not working, does the car have to be on to change fuses?

There are 2 (or 3) fuses for your radio.

One on the Constant (memory retention) and one for the ignition (on and off with key)

Fuse 18 (20A) (if equipped) is for the factory amplifier
Fuse 19 (10A) Constant power Fuse
Fuse 4 (10A) Ignition Fuse
