On Vista 64bit version goto control panel>>Hardware and Sound.. under sound click on Manage Audio Devices>> then select your speakers by double clicking on them. In the new box that comes up goto Levels and there are slider bars for all settings - top one is Audio output. Slide this to the right. Mine was set at virtually zero when I plugged my speakers in yesterday.

Message pops up onscren saying that the Air filter needs to be changed. I find it difficult to get the replacement in Malaysia as shops don't carry the item. Any simple material that I cold use to get the same result?
