Question about Televison & Video
Hi, pls tell me where do I get HDMI card for panasonic TH42PH11MK TV? and appx me cost??. Thank you, Manjunath
The card will have a part number. Refer its repair manual for details. Without that number, you can't order it.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

If your tv and reciever have optical audio (square-ish hole with a red light), that would be the easiest way. Just get an optical audio cable and plug it into the optical out on the tv and into the optical in on the Sony.

I have a panasonic th42pa 60a SD plasma and I get the same problem WHEN USING CERTAIN HDMI cables. I had a connexa brand with my samsung stb that i got with the TV and I had no problems., but i had to replace that because one of the ends "frayed" when it was accidently yanked out of the tv socket. A high quality monster cable did the same green screen you describe. The cheapest "Crest" from Big W that did HDMI standard 1b worked fine, but a Rank Arena from Target did not. So buy the cheapest HDMI 1b cable you can, the picture quality and sound is the same as the more expensive stuff. BTW I tried a HDMI 3 way splitter as well and it did the same green screen thing, but it worked on a later model panasonic plasma. I think it is Pana's poor HDMI implementation.

SOURCE: HDMI inputs are not working
As crcelect suggests you can run the TV on RCA. You should also be able to use coax directly from your cable box. If you don't have cable you can use an rf converter to connect coax.
I have exactly the same problem with my Panasonic TH-42PX75U. I've been told that I may need to run a setup on my cable box to fix the problem. If I find a solution I'll provide details in a future post.

SOURCE: can i connect my panasonic
Yes you can connect your Panasonic Viera TH-42PX80U Plasma TV to your computer. You will need to buy an hdmi to vga cable in order to connect your vista desktop to your tv.
