Give it time. It will need to process the data. Test with a brief recording. If it takes more than ten times the length of the recording, try reinstalling the software.

Need help in getting rid of skipping and jumping on wavepad

I once had a similar problem. I found that it was a faulty driver for my Creative Labs Sound Basster X-FI sound card. If it is a sound card/driver issue, then it should show up playing other *.wav, mp3 etc. files. So, it's always good to see if you have the most recent drivers for your sound card. Also check your cables and inputs/outputs. It's not a good idea to connect to the "mic in" on the computer.

The other possibility is whether you have a "clean" recording of the mix. You would have to copy the sound file to a cd disc or onto a USB flash drive and see how it plays on another computer. If it is in the actual recording there is some pretty decent software out there to removed the unwanted sounds. I use Magix's Audio Cleaning Lab (www.magix.com) which offers multiple ways to remove unwanted sounds from various mmedia; the best being through a spectral analysis of the recording (sounds heavy but it's actually pretty simple).

Hope this helps!

I recorded drums to the internal click track/metronome and drums are in time with metronome when i play it back with the click from the start of the song. BUT, if i stop in the middle of the song and...

I'd say the click track starts from exactly when you hit play even if you've hit play not right on the beat. There might be a setting or preference that can fix this.

Try rewinding back to be right on the beat and see if it syncs with the click
