SOURCE: Shook Violently first time on spin cycle

Make sure you take out the four shipping bolts on the back side or you will surely damage the tub and it will shake and vibrate terribly.

SOURCE: During the final spin cycle, water is leaking inside the machine

You have a problem with the pressure switch cutting in too early before all of the water has drained away from the outer drum

There is either an obstruction in the outlet pipe or pump which is not allowing the water to discharge fast enough.

The machine is then spinning with too much water left in the outer drum added to the water which is being expelled from the clothes equals leaking

Take the hose off the back of the machine and put it in a sink , make sure it is secure and do a rinse cycle

Watch the outlet and make sure it is a strong flow if it is weak then you have probably got an item of clothing stuck in the pipe from the drum to the pump and a strip down is required

One more thing there is a small plastic bottle attached to the back of the outer drum this has tube which leads to the pressure switch

Make sure there is no congealed soap in the Air Bell as it is called

SOURCE: the drum shakes violently and is very loud during spin cycle

There are 2 shock absorbers/springs attached to the drum. If one of them breaks it will cause a loud banging noise when you wash heavy loads. This is an easy fix. The part is about $22.00 and it is accessed throught the front bottom panel.

Shakes violently during spin cycle from back to

I had this problem with my front loader as well. It is probably the mounts or "level shocks" on the bottom of the unit under the tub. I have a Kenmore by Frigidaire and had to replace the "level shocks". I only paid about $43.00 and was not that hard to put on. Look under your machine and see if the shocks are connected to the tub. Check under the top panel also to see if that particular model has mounts up there too.

Washer bangs loudly in middle of spin cycle

Hello,

Make sure the back spring is still on the back of the tub. That tends to come off sometimes. Check all the other springs while you're down there too. You can balance the unit if you tilt the back side of the washer and then set it back down. it has auto leveling feet. What's happening is once the water is all drained out, the unit will enter the final spin cycle and spin very fast putting the unit off balance so the tub bounces around.

Good luck, let me know if this helped.

Whirlpool washer LSQ9549LW makes one loud, violent clunk ea. spin

great analogy, sounds as if you have broken/stripped the tub block( its waht secures the inner tub to the outer tub) part number 389140, if you removethe agitator( a 7/16" bolt down the center of agitator) there is one more lock ring that isactually tightened down across the top of said "tub block"( usually need a specialty spanner wrench to remove, but have done it with a pipe wrench) after removing that lock nut the inner tub will release and the new tub block can be installed...

Violate shaking in spin cycle

Yes you need to remove the agitator to do this and there is a nut that holds the tub down these come loose alot from the factory alot of times you can remove the nut and put lock tite on the treads and re tighten and be fine but in most of the cases you need to replace the spanner nut and the split ring under ther tub at the same time to take care of the problem the split ring isnt that hard to replace you just need to remove the splash gaurd from the top of the tub and several brackets that hod the header on and just lift inner tub out and there on the transmission is the split ring it looks just as it says just a little ring with a split in it replace these and it will solve your problem but you will need a special tool to tighten the nut back due to the room in the tub (center nut spanner tool for a g/e)

Noisy clothes washer

I am thinking there may be an object caught between the inner and outer tubs...perhaps something came out of a pants pocket and was "flung" overboard into the outer tub. If you remove the top, and push the inner tub (moving tub) to one side, look with a flashlight for a foreign object. the noise will be fine until high speed kicks in and begins to disturb the sleeping object into a frenzy.
