I reccomend connecting you computer directly to your tv, depending on which mac you have. DVI or vga. I'm sure the manufacterer does as well. The files maybe in a codec your tv does not compute.

The OS is hidden in memory, you can clear all files off the machine and it will still work.
The only requirements are the 4 folders:
New firmware can be found at www.lacie.com

El sistema de archivos FAT32 / MS-DOS no admite tamaños de archivo mayores que 4 GB. No intente formatear la unidad en el sistema de archivos HFS+, ya que no es compatible en el modo TV.

Dead easy, simply attached the SScreen to your PC/Mac and create the four folders:
It requires these four folders to boot the OS!
--No Quotes in folder names--
