I believe you need to set the clock on that before it will take cook programing. So Push the clear pad then push clock, Maybe clock twice. Been a while sorry!! set the time and I think you have to puch clock again, for it ro start the clock or start. As long as you do not puch cook then any time pushing start should only start the clock. That should do the trick. Good Luck!
