Usually all you have to do is initialize hard disk even if you do not have one.
Just turn off the printer. Turn the printer back on and when the memory starts
to count hold down the menu key until all three lights come on. When all three
lights are on solid release the menu button and press the arrow back button and
initialize disk should appear in the menu. Just hit the check mark button again
and it should take care of the problem.
