SOURCE: does it matter how the blades are lined up with each other on a Huskee LT4200?

The blades are belt driven, and once installed will do what they are designed to, spin and cut the grass. They wont hit each other, and the belt allows them to "pause" for a split second seperately from each other in case you hit a rock or stick or...
I wouldn't worry about it.

Blades will not engage on huskee LT4200

Probably the PTO cable is either coroded up and struck or it is broken. You will need the 13W model number from serial tag to look-up as there is at least 2 different cable for this model series.

My L130 will not turn right.

you will need to change the steering gear , and the steering pinion and its not a bad idea to change the gear pivots (2) and also the bottom steering wheel shaft bushing. they sell a complete kit on ebay that has it all in one nice n tidy kit.> http://www.ebay.com/itm/JOHN-DEERE-STEERING-GEAR-REPAIR-KIT-102-135-LA120-LA155-/261112192757?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ccb7fdef5

dont let the high price full you, just the pinion $40 and the steering gear $32 is $72 and you get both and the $10 bushings x2 plus for the same price!!

022704D001228 Craftman - Need year of mower

right there in your serial number: 022704 - your mower was built feb. 27, 2004 -- first make sure it's the steering column that has frozen. more often than not, it's the front spindles that freeze up. very rarely, the pinion and bevel gear will freeze. to get parts, you'll need the MODEL NUMBER. keep in mind that this is not an easy repair. check everything over before you take it apart, a digital camera can be quite a lifesaver
