Question about Computers & Internet
The notebook was working perfectly fine until the battery died. When the battery dies, we usually start charging it and we can immediately use the notebook again while it's on charge. This time, the notebook does not turn on. It only shows the orange charge light but thats it. Have taken the batt out a few times but to no avail.
What about with battery out will it turn on wit h the power adapter plugged in

That usually indicates battery is beginning to go bad. Eventually it will not hold a charge and will need to be replaced.

It sounds like the power socket on the laptop is faulty and needs replacing or resoldering. To check this, power up the latop with the power adapter, wriggle the plug in the power socket and check if the battery charge indicator flicks on and off indicating charging and not charging. If it indicator flicks on and off then you have a faulty power socket.
This can be repaired but required the laptop to be completely dismantled to access the power connector.

it means your battery is damaged. avoid using battery while using charger in your house. remove battery to be safe. battery is for outside or for travel only.

the battery is gone dude. This year manufactures have reduced the quality of batteries drastically to cut down the costs and i think u got even the worst of them.
and whats more they they dont even give warranty on batteries for more than 6 months.
so U'll have to get new one. Sorry
