Press "end of cycle" to re-start a new cycle. Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

SOURCE: No Drainage on my LG WD-8050F washing machine

hi friend,
If your washer won't drain, check these:

It spins, but doesn't pump
It doesn't spin or pump
It pumps, but the water returns
It spins, but doesn't pump
If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many
washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub
that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's
attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the
hoses
from the pump and pull the item out.

To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the
large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using
needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port.

Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator,
top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might
be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job.

If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be
turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump.

It doesn't spin or pump
If your washer doesn't spin or pump water out but the motor is running, your washer probably
has a frozen pump pulley. If so, you need to replace the pump. To check the pulley, remove the
pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen
or stiff--replace it.

It pumps, but the water returns
If the water that pumps out of the machine goes back into the machine after the spin cycle, your
washer may be siphoning the water from a laundry tub that has a slow drain, back into the
washer. The usual remedy for this is to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is something stuck
in the drain?) Also, check for these problems:

* If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess.

* If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.

SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt 700 won't drain water

Do the following.

  1. Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains power.
  2. Remove the access panel on the lower right front of the machine.
3. Remove the filter and make sure that the filter is not blocked and is clean and clear of all debris. Clean as required. Note that depending on the machine type you may get a lot of water coming out of the filter when you remove it if the machine has not drained successfully. Note that if the machine has stopped and not fully drained then you may be able to drain out the excess water by removing or disconnecting the waste hose and laying it on the ground in a tray. It may take a few minutes to empty but it will save a small flood.
4. Proceed by checking the drain hose for proper connection and kinks and make sure that it is not blocked.
5. Also check that the main waste drain pipe, if you use one, is not blocked and clean if required.
6. Reconnect the power and switch the machine on.
If the problem persists then do the following.
7. Switch off the machine and disconnect the mains power.
8. Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure it is operational.
9. Remove the connecting hoses, and expect water to drain out and make sure the pipes are not blocked with debris or any object blockage.
10. Makes sure the pump appears clear and that the impeller looks in good condition.
11. Reconnect the hoses and then reconnect power and switch the machine on.
12. If problem has not been corrected, then remove the pump and check that the drive coupling to the motor is OK and that the motor turns OK. If all is well then replace the pump.

SOURCE: water back up from washing machine drainage pipe.

Do you own a snake? If not, you can get one at any hardware store in your area. Tell the guy at the store your problem; you can buy a cheap one for about 10-15 bucks. Simply fix, pull the washing machine drain hose out of the drain and put the snake down. Much cheaper than calling a plumber to do it (would cost around 100 bucks) Good luck

Is the tub still full of water? If yes then try lowering the outlet hose into a bowl or bucket and see if any water comes out, if yes the system is clear and it would be pump related, if no then you have a blockage somewhere.

Candy 1400 aaa fills water but that is all it does

Simply try the old off at the plug, wait 10 mins then on again. Then try looking where your machine has access to the 'flap'. Basically, ours did that, I opened flap bottom right, where the muck/hairs/hair clips/pencils etc etc have all accumulated in the years of use. Clean it all out. Our machine apparently refused to spin / turn whilst bunged up with rubbish. Cleaned it out, turned back on and selected a "spin dry" only cycle and left it. Also, there's a pipe that outlets the water - usually directed into your sink drainage pipes. Check this isn't going up-hill. What I mean is, the draining water will pump mildly upwards sloping but I found ours was too steep thus not draining thus it wont spin. Not an engineer just had many issues similar with our cheapo Beko machine.

I have godrej gda 902 water is not getting drain after its first cycle of process can any one tell me what might be the problem

The drainage pipe is blocked up. this is a common problem amongst washing machines. People forget to check the pockets before a wash and dirt and fibers start to get stuck inside of the pipes and soon it is blocked and will not drain or drains very slowly.
Solution is to take the machine outside and unhook the drainage pipe. most of the time the blockage is there and is easily removed.
If not, hook the machine up outside and when the drainage cycle is suppose to start try to see if the blockage can be removed by spraying high pressure water up where the pipe has been disconnected. The resulting push of water from both sides may be enough to breakup the materials blocking the pipe.

Toshiba washing machine model AW 9790s error code E1

E1 is the drainage hose error, check the drainage pipe hose is not blocked damaged or filled with water or frozen, or maybe the return sensor for the hose is switched sensing something is wrong with the pipe but isnt. check the drainage hose ensure all water is out of the hose. open and close the lid one, then press the start/hold button this should reset the error alarm.

I hope this was useful

Problem with a hotpoint wmf760 aquarius + error code h20 coming up

You may have soap & grease in the pipe that leads to the pressure switch. Remove and flush through and/or replace. dry before refitting.
Thus constant high would give pump faults (thinks machine still contains water). Constant low may cause over filling. If you have a plug that suddenly moves, that can cause the above errors.

If you are talking about the door seal spring clip and you have difficulty in getting it to slide back in it's grove use a bit of washing up liquid in the groove and the ring. Is it not adjustable?

Agitates but wont drain

Hello,

The major reason for this to happen is the clogging of the drain pipe of the washing machine. If, even after you clean the drainage hose, the problem persists, there may be other problems.

Next possibility could be that the drainage pump which drives the water out of the drainage hose may be clogged! So, remove the drainage pump and clean it. That should solve the problem. it might also be that the belt of the drainage pump motor may have loosened. If this is the case, you have to simply tighten it.

Take care

Our Fisher & Paykel Washing Machine is not spinning. It gets to the spin cycle and sits there counting down. The fault code eventually said Service fault 37. What does that mean?

Emptied washer, tipped it on its side, detached drainage pipes underneath, and pulled out old fabric/lint/blockage with tweezers. Plugged in, switched on, all good.
