Ibanez tube king pedal wont work

Check your power supply output voltage. It may be putting out (under) the correct voltage. Also I believe there is a small internal transformer in that pedal that may supply the tube voltage? ... that might be your culprit.

a) basically it has to be acted upon by a supply voltage of at least 95V

to work.

b) of course, assuming the horizontal deflection oscillator works, same

with the horizontal drive and horizontal output transistor

58689de.jpg

it would generate output voltages on the secondary terminals

and 200V line will be active sending voltages to the

Video Drive circuits. Of course high voltage will be generated

ranging to at least 30 KV and there will be voltages on the G2 of the tube.

c) the easiest test point to look when it is oscillating, is the CRT heater

voltage, the heater lit when flyback is good ( mostly at night times when it

is dark ) and you can hear sounds, too.

here is a sample image

marked with letter H and H1

Green Arrow for the G2 voltage

d) having a B+ voltage reading of 75 V or lesser ( primary pins )

indicates a bad or partially shorted flyback, assuming your

horizontal output transistor and power supply are good & OK.

These only applies to CRT type TV's.

I have Behringer xenyx 1622fx , It will turn on the power but a few minute the power will turn -off , Please help me to solve the problem of this unit in power supply section or other section.

Here is your schematic:

http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_xenyx_1622fx.pdf/download.html

Scroll down and find link "Get manual" and click to download.. IGNORE other download links they are for third party viewers. Power supply is on page 11. This is a switching power supply running from line voltage. For personal safety USE AN ISOLATION transformer when working on it. First thing is to measure all the voltage outputs before and during shutdown. Switching power supplies often require use of an oscilloscope to repair. The three terminal regulators that follow the main switching supply each have thermal shutdown so if one of them is being overloaded it will shutdown and that voltage will drop way down. Use great caution when working on the supply!!!

My digitech rp 500 has power supply but it won't

Make sure you have the OFFICIAL Digitech power adapter. Universal adapters or those for MOST other pedals will NOT work... things may light up but you will NOT get audio. This unit requires an adapter supplying 9 VAC (not DC) at about 1 amp. These AC output adapters are not very common and people get the units without an adapter and try using universal adapters and they do not work. An AC adapter is used by Digitech so they can generate both plus and minus voltages internally. I don't know what your utility power voltage is in Cebu, so you need to get an adapter for your voltage that will give 9 VAC output and fit the power jack on the unit.

One speaker hums very loud with nothing plugged into it i own the mr-8

If this monitor is humming without nothing connected to it, maybe the electrolytic capacitors from its power supply are bad - they are responsible for filtering the fluctuation at the output of the internal voltage rectifiers that transform the AC input voltage into a DC voltage to feed its internal amplifier.

When they fail, the supply voltage for its internal amplifier that should be flat, continuous, now presents a pulsating profile, according to the mains frequency (generally 60 or 50 Hz, depending on the country you're in). So, the output of the amplifier will be varying at the same rate, producing the humming.

Another possibility is that one internal cable connection that should be shielded is now disconnected or loose and is picking the hum from the internal power supply.

Anyway, maybe you should take it to a service center and have it checked.

Hope this info may help you!

My Behringer XENYX 2442FX Mixer does not power up, the only light that comes on is the phantom power light. I opened it up and noticed that the switching power supply has multiple voltage outputs. We...

You should find +/-15 volts and +5 volts as well as the phantom power... but that light can come on at much lower than desired voltage.

Note that the regulators are current limited so a short on the mixer board can kill one of the voltages.... but you are not getting any input from teh switching portion of the regulator so the switching part of the supply is apparently dead. To replace the supply you would have to call Behringer at 1-425-672-0816 to get the part number and an incident number and then call FullCompass which is their part distributor now.

When working on a switching power supply, use an isolation transformer for safety and use a 60 watt lamp in series with the power cord to limit current during testing.

The circuitry will be SIMILAR to the power supply found on page 9 of schematic you can download at:

Output and power transformers specs

What??? There is NO output transformer for the Mg50DFX. The outputs are direct driven from hybrid stick TDA type solid state amp chips.

The power transformet is probably about 100 watt size and supplies two voltages... one that feeds a +/- 15 volt three terminal regulators... Probably 22 volts +/- to the regualtors and the other supply will be unregulated to the power amp chips.

Hi im in Argentina and i accidentally pluged in my amp without an adapter now it doesnt work what needs to be fixd?

The power supply is blown. Argentina is 220V I believe. I have never seen a power supply schematic for this however being that it is low power it is a linear supply not switching. Either the rectifier diodes are blown out or possibly the output capacitors are blow due to approx double voltage. If you try this yourself be careful otherwise get a new amp. Good Luck

I plug in my casio ctk-800 and it does not turn on when i press the on button

If you lucky, the power jack may be at fault since it switches from external to internal battery, but most likely the internal supply is what's damaged... IC regulator possibly. A quick voltage check with a volt meter at the power leads on the main board will verify battery or xfmr supply voltage, if voltage is present then look in close proximity for an IC regulator and check for an output.
