I've owned about five breadmakers. You usually set the mode then sometimes crust color and hit start.

But if you want to delay the bread so it's hot for breakfast, say, you push the timer up and add how many hours on you want. It's fun waking up to freshly baked bread!

Use program #1 if you are using a recipe that contains regular bread flour. If using a combination of bread flour and whole wheat flour and whole wheat is 50% or more of the flour mix use the whole wheat program. Your manual will tell you which program # is the whole wheat one.

Do Wilton pans take longer for baking than typical recipes call for? My cakes are sinking during cooling even after baking 10-15 longer than recipe calls for.

I am not familiar with Wilton pans, but as a former professional baker, the main reason for cakes sinking, after baking, is under or insufficient baking. The structure of the cake, which is aerated by the baking powder releasing carbon dioxide to "push it up" or by the inclusion of air during the mixing process, (as in egg sponges or madeira cakes,) needs to be fully set to ensure it stays put as the cake cools. If the structure is not fully baked, as the cake cools the raising agents dissipate and the cake collapses.

Collapsing during baking is caused by fundamentally different reasons, usually as a result of unbalanced recipes.

Hope this helps.

Bake cake oven

It depends on the size of the cake. I make a syrup sponge cake that contains 4oz flour, 4oz Sugar, 4oz Butter and 2 eggs, with a layer of syrup in the bottom of the microwave bowl. It usually takes 4-5 mins on maximum in my 800W microwave.

Can you make your own wedding cake or is that just a crazy idea?

If you know someone who loves to bake and is good at icing, or it's something you enjoy yourself then you should consider making your own cake. It could be a really fun project and can be done quite a bit in advance as the icing really preserves the cake.

The BBC have a very basic but beautiful do it yourself wedding cake recipe that I was very impressed with;

Does anyone know how to make cake balls? I am fairly new to cooking, so I need a lot of detailed instructions.

Here is a link to a YouTube video that shows you how to make cake balls. The instructions begin with a cake that's already made but you can use a store bought cake mix and you don't need to bake one from scratch.

I lost my instructions for the recipes and i don't know how to make the cake mixes

I have the recipe for yellow cake from the handbook:
preheat over for 15 minutes and spray pans with cooking spray

1. pour contents of yellow cake mix into bowl and stir to break up any lumps. 2. add 1.5 teaspoons of water and stir to form batter 3. pour batter into baking pan and spread evenly. 4. place pan in baking slot of oven and use pusher end of pan tool to push it into baking chamber. Do not use your hands. 5. bake cake for 12 minutes. 6. when baking time is complete, use pusher end of pan tool to push pan into cooling chamber and let cool for 10 minutes. 7. when cooling time is complete, use holder end of pan tool to remove pan from cooling chamber. Transfer cooled cake to a plate, turning over so bottom faces up.
frosting 1. pour contents of frosting mix into bowl. 2. add 1/2 teaspoon of water and stir until smooth. For thinner frosting, stir in a few extra drops of water. 3. spread frosting over cooled cake.
Sugar Cookies
1. pour contents of sugar cookie mix into bowl and stir to break up any lumps. 2. add 3/4 taespoon of water and stir to form dough. 3. sprinkle your hands with flour and shape dough into 6 small balls. 4. flatten 3 cookie balls and place in baking pan. 5. place pan into oven and use pusher end of pan tool to push into oven. Make sure both metal doors are closed. 6. cook for 10 minutes. 7. when baking time is complete, use pusher end of pan tool to push pan into cooling chamber and let cool for 10 minutes. 8. when cooling time is complete, use holder end of pan tool to remove pan from cooling chamber. 9 repeat steps 4-8 to make remaining 3 cookies.
those were the basic recipes in the handbook. Hope that helps

How can i make cake in grill type ovan

Just about any gas grill can be used like an oven. In fact, just about any thing you bake in an oven can be baked on a gas grill using the indirect cooking method.

All you have to do, is preheat the outer burners (one on the right and one on the left). That's assuming you have a 3 or more burner gas grill. to the proper temperature that your recipe calls for. When I say, "preheat", I mean with the grill hood closed. This may take a little longer than what your kitchen oven would. In the meantime, prepare the cake batter according to the recipe's instructions. Once the grill has been heated to the proper temperature. place the cake pans in the middle section of the grill, close the hood and bake the length of time required in your recipe.

Try no to peek to much, as each time you open the grill's hood, you'll lose as much as 20 degrees in temperature. Use time and your nose to determine if the cake layers are done.

All of the above is based on using the grill you listed above. Coleman LG20510E

Easy Bake Oven - directions.

I know that you need to plug in the oven and let it preheat for 15 minutes. As far as the mixes go I think there are different directions for each one. Usually just tsp or so of water. You can go here:

It's the hasbro site. They have "recipes" which will basically tell you how much water to put in. Click download under the picture of the girls playing with the easy bake oven and it will bring them all up.

P.s. There are all kind of "real" recipes online. If you google "easy bake oven recipes" it comes up with oodles of them! Some of them actually sound pretty good. And most of the stuff you probably already have on hand.

Hope I helped! Happy baking!
