Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

That is more than likely the PS3's Yellow light of death (YLOD) It is actually an easy fix if you know what to look for. Check out Youtube for videos how to fix.

Ps3 light proplem

You could try PS3 reset to factory defaults

or here's a vid of someone with the turn on and off (no lights) - may be a bad cable.

My Playstaion te red is flashing on and off abd

Yes this is the YLOD the (Yellow light of death) it happens when the GPU and the CPU overheat and you will need to fix this by stopping the heat build up, you can sned it in and they will fix it for you for $130.

Or you can fix it yourself using a good PS3 Repair guide in under an hour!

Try using a different hard drive. The reader arm may be stuck on the platter inside your hard drive so it can't fully boot. Thanks.

Playstaion 2

Hey sml625,

According to information provided by the manufacturer, the Sixaxis controller is unfortunately not compatible with the Playstation 2 and is only supported on the Playstation 3 console.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
