SOURCE: not cooling

The clicking you are hearing is your overload on your start system sounds like your compresser start ststem is out..or your compresser is locked up the only way to tell is to ohm out the compresser idf you dont have a meter you can install a start kit like a Supco Pro41 or a RCO410 or a factory replacement and see if it starts up the compresser.. Have you cleaned the condenser at all ??? although this will not fix the compresser it can be a cause of overheating..The part Number you need is a 2188831 for the factory replacemenet ($22.56)the supco parts part number SU RCO410 ($15.00) the Pro41 is part #
SU PRO41 ($17.97) you can get them at your local parts house they are all easy to change or if you dont have a parts house close you can oder it on the web at www.apdepot.com Hope this fixes ya

SOURCE: refrigerator Compressor hot to touch & fridge/freezer not cooling

you need to do an amp draw with your meter, clamp the run wire on the compressor, you should get 2-5 amp reading, any higher means the compressor is going bad, also should be a locked rotor amp(LRA) reading on comp.-mike

Frigidaire/refrigerator Freezer not cooling Can hear compressor click here n but only runs 3/4 seconds

Hello
That's most likely the compressor overload
The start components are bad or the compressor is locked up take an amp draw then check the tag on the compressor it will give you the LRA rating
if you get lucky if it has a condenser fan motor check it
Thanks

U-Line 75FF Bar refrigerator stopped cooling

it could be a problem start/run capacitor for the compressor or compressor failure
get a fridge technician in to test and get a quote

I need the cooling capacity of a matsushita cnr05-980270 compressor. can anyone please assist?

I would need more information to properly answer your question.
What are you removing this compressor from?
The cooling capacity can vary greatly depending on the Evaporator size, the Condenser size and the fan speed that is moving the air. Also there are some other figures needed.
But if you could give me the application that you are using the compressor in I might be able to better answer your question!

My true back bar cooler dosent cool it is not iceing over

If you can gain access to the compressor, you will see 2 copper lines going to the compressor. One is smaller than the other. VERY CAREFULLY lightly touch the smaller line while the unit is running. If the compressor is running, that line will be extremely hot.
Start there.
Let me know if I can be of further help.

check to make sure you have 220 on both sides of contactors, double check wiring at capacitor. you can also check continuity between all three post at compressor , make sure power is off and wires are disconected, if you do not get continuity between all three u have an open winding in compressor, could be the over load if the compressor is hot. Did you take an amp draw at compressor? check the LRA (lock rotor amp) of compressor.

On the unit model/serial# tag there is three terms.what do they mean, compressor lra/rla and fan fla

Compressor LRA ( locked rotor amps)meaning that if you hold that rotor and do not allow it to turn, it would draw that many amps.
Compressor RLA (rated load amps) meaning the amps the compressor will draw at a certain outdoor temperature usssually 95°.
Fan FLA (Full load amps) meaning that's the maximum amps the motor will run at continuosly.
