Jumbo Universal Remote (by 30 users)
I recently purchased an Innovage product, the jumbo universal remote. I have direct tv sat reciever and the codes in the booklet don't work. I have done everything their manual said to do and it still doesn't work. I contacted Direct tv and they said the remote don't work for their product. Why would their name be listed in code section if they are not suppose to work? The remote has a search code feature in which i did to no avail. Please help! I tried using all sat codes from manual for direct tv, rca, and star sight(bc that is what it says on the bottom of my reciever). It is suppossed to blink when you push in code then turn of receiver but it doesn't.

i have the Direct TV D-!0 and i do not have the manual i see everyone says they tried the codes for it but no one listed the codes they tried i know it works because someone i used to talk to has it for their tv dont give up but please list the codes provided

Do you have the original Direct TV remote? I have one in storage somewhere.
If so, did you try the learning mode setup? The learning mode doesn't always work such as with a Comcast remote to a Motorola box from Comcast.
I would like to say that many people using this the FixYa.com forum have lost the manual for their Samsung SAM2000 LCD learning remote (like I have.) If you could, I would like you to email me a scanned in copy of the manual and I will make it available on my webserver to share with others who have lost theirs.

I received the Jumbo Remote as a birthday gift. After an hour have not been able to program the DirectTV unit or my Sansui VCR\DVD combo unit. None of codes present work nor does the code search function.

I purchsed the innovage jumbo universal remote. I can program my tv and my vcr but not my directtv d10 receiver.

I have the same problem with my Universal remote, The Direct TV codes supplied with the remote to not operate my Direct TV receiver???

I have pressed the ''CODE SEARCH'' button then pressed TV, then I even pressed the power button 100x but it didn't work. I've tried everything! So these URC are pieces of junk!

I purchased an Emerson Jumbo Universal Remote Control (at Penneys) and they were displayed alongside the Innovage Jumbo Universal Remote Controls and except for the name, they appeared to be the same. I contacted Directv and they were no help except for supplying me with the model # of my direct tv boxes (I have 2 kinds, neither would work with the jumbo remote). I have tried everything possible and every code possible with both satellite tv boxes, but can't get the remote to operate either. This remote was a breeze to program to my RCA TV, RCA vcr. and Magnavox DVD (this dvd never worked with even my direct tv supplied remote!), so I know I'm clicking the right buttons in the right order, but this is so frustrating! If there is anyone out there who has a solution, please help! I've wasted too much time on this already!!!!

I have that big remote but all the methods in the instruction sheet do not work to try to get the remote to work any of the direct tv equipment. HELP!!

the product is a sham. it doesn't work with direct-tv, it doesn't work with TiVo, and doesn't work with Sony DVD player/surround sound......

I just purchased BIGMATTERS! Jumbo Universal Remote. I have Directv D10-100 receiver. I was able to program the RCA tv for the TV button. But I too have tried all the codes in the manual to be able to program the SAT button.
Has anyone discovered a usable code so that we can program this type of universal remote to work with directv receiver?

Same problem here...I tried all the Directv codes three times thinking I made a mistake along the way....to no avail...I've searched on the net and haven't found an answer.. There's no website listed in the manual for support either.

I have a directv r10 and the jumbo universal remote codes in the book doesn't work. I also tried the search for code feature and it still doesn't work.

I have lost the instructions to my Brookstone Jumbo Remote Control and I do not remember how to program it to my RCA TV.

This product will work with the TV but does not work with Direct TV. I tried every code in the book and the search, all with no success. I guess I will find another Christmas present.
