SOURCE: printer prints white thick blank lines

1- black lines are from the drum: it has burnt out on that particular spot and rotates

2- the white horizontal gap space if it is not you skipping space is also from the drum

3-the white Vertical is most likely from the developper (unit that has the toner and is against the drum, look at the roller it should be solid black, maybe there is something on it : hair paper etc....

assuming it is a black patch of toner, the drum blade needs changing or the waste toner mechanism needs to be looked at

SOURCE: put new black canon 3-e ink in canon Pixma ip 5000

The clean heads option should be in the Preferences/Maintenance tab where you go to do other things, e.g. alignment, ink counter reset, etc. If you cannot see this, you mmay need to reinstall the driver for the printer. You could also ask Canon. Finally, if the catridge is a refill or compatible, try a genuine Canon black cartridge.

SOURCE: Canon Pixma MP620 problem. It

You probably need to run maintenance on the printer.
On the LCD do the following: (1)Select Settings on the HOME screen, and press the OK button. (2) Select Maintenance, and press the OK button. (3) Select Nozzle check pattern, and press the OK button. (4) Select Yes, and press the OK button. The nozzle check pattern will be printed and two pattern confirmation screens appear on the LCD.
This will tell you if the nozzles are out of alignment or not.Regardless you should not run the deep cleaning on the print heads. From the LCD do the following and make sure you have several sheets of paper in the printer;
(1) Select Settings on the HOME screen, and press the OK button. (2) Select Maintenance, and press the OK button. (3) Select Deep cleaning, and press the OK button. (4) Select Yes, and press the OK button. The machine starts cleaning the Print Head deeply. Do not perform any other operations until the machine completes the deep cleaning of the Print Head. This takes about 1 minute 30 seconds. (5) Select Yes, and press the OK button. The nozzle check pattern will be printed. (6) Check the nozzle check pattern. See Examining the Nozzle Check Pattern. - If a particular color is not printed properly, replace the ink tank of that color. See Replacing an Ink Tank. - If the problem is not resolved, turn off the power and clean the Print Head deeply again after 24 hours. - If the problem is still not resolved, the Print Head may be damaged. The print funcation is a option with a IR-5000...... Do you have a ether net PCB installed???? If you do not, you need to get a new boot rom & more ram & the ether port and lastly, you need to have your hard drive flashed to print...... Good Luck
