How do I set my clock back an hour? It is the wrong time. My daughter set it ahead not realizing that it would change itself for daylight saving time.

Most digital clocks do not have the ability to move backwards. It is simply a matter of moving the clock hours forward 23 hours and you will be right back where you want to be. I hope this helps.

How to change the time on the Timex auto set clock radio.. the DST hasn't switched back to EST.

Timex T309TT Clock Radio.

Setting the time:
Unlike another review that says it automatically sets the time, I did not find that to be the case, I believe the model with the cd player does that, but this one had to be set. I'm not one to usually read the manual as I like to figure things out on my own, and was able to set the time without the use of it. It was as simple as holding the time set button and using the reverse and forward buttons to advance the time. Unlike some clocks, you do not have the option to change just the hour or just the minutes, you have to forward or reverse through all the hours/minutes.

Calendar:
The alarm can be set to go off 7 days a week, 5 days (Monday-Friday), or 2 days (Saturday & Sunday). Again, easy to do with pushing the date button and using the forward and reverse buttons to scroll through the dates.

Adjustable display: There are 3 levels of lighted display, pressing the snooze/dimmer button allows you to change between the three. Nice touch!

Radio Operation:
After pressing the Radio on the display will show the word "on" before returning to the clock display. The bottom display shows the radio frequency.
There are 18 programmable radio station settings with the buttons to access them right on the front of the clock labeled 1-6. Programming is easy with just finding a station you like and pressing and holding one of the preset buttons until it beeps to confirm it was accepted.
I find the radio to get fairly good reception and for the times it doesn't , after moving the attached wire antennae it would pick up a better reception.
So far my experience with the sound quality has been good.
The radio also has a last station memory, so after being turned off and then back on, will recall the last station you were listening too.

Alarm:
Setting the alarm is fairly simple. To set , simply press the alarm button until the time on the screen starts to flash. Then you can click the button to choose through 3 settings which are every day, weekends, or Mon-Fri. This radio also comes with nature sounds. I have not used this feature at this time. You have the choice of
* Ocean surf
* Forest spring
* Rushing brook
* Summer wind

Hope this helps :)

How do I change the time one hour ahead for an RP5430A model clock radio?

Slide the Wake 1/Wake2/Clock switch to the Clock position. Then press the forward button to advance the clock by the needed amount of time. Then slide the switch back to the side with the key icon.

If you set the DST switch to ON, you can move the time zone switch to one time zone further east for a few weeks until the DST change in the program takes effect. Then move the time zone switch back to your current time zone. (Repeat this in the fall to correct for the later change in DST again). The exact length of time between when DST starts and ends versus when the clock will change the program will depend on when the clock was manufactured. Clocks built after July 2006 should have the correct DST programs. Clocks from earlier have a much shorter period of DST (April through Oct).

I hope this helps.

I have 2 clocks (model 40009,40010)that have inaccurate time

I read the manual which said to depress the alarm button. That wasn't the right button but I found that depressing the button next to it, the DST button, that that fixed the problem.
Thanks.

How to set a RCA RP3720A model

First, move the slide switch at the left rear of the top of the unit all the way to the right. You'll see the colon blinking, indicating that you are in 'set' mode. Now turn the dial that surrounds the ON/OFF button on the top of the unit. You can move it clockwise or counterclockwise, to change the time forward or backward. When done, move the slide switch back to the far left. Done.

Changing the clock

Wow I know its been a while but I can tell you how to change the clock on your radio. It can be done while the radio in on or off. To simplify this please turn radio off. The incorrect time should be displayed. There is a button that is the display (disp) located in the middle right of the face.( If for some reason the time is not displayed, press the disp button once or as many times needed until the time is displayed. Now let it go and continue from there.) Press and Hold this button down until the time begins to blink. Once it begins to blink let go of the disp button. Now the next button you are going to use is the 'skip' button (>>I) for the hr only and the (I<<) button for the min. You cannot go backwards only forward. You must observe the correct time of day or am/pm. The >>I and the I<< are far right and vertical to each other. Because one is for hr and the other is for min you can not go backwards only forwards. So hold down the hr button until it is the right am or pm and the right hr. The min is simpler since you don't have to worry about am or pm, just depress the button once it reaches the right mins in the hr. Hope this helps
