Question about Refrigerators
I have a problem with my american fridge freezer, it is not cooling the fridge. I understand that the problem is in the freezer section. When i removed the covers the freezer unit did not appear to be frozen, The fan is working but the duct is not opening to circulate the cold air into the fridge. The central partition between the freezer and fridge appears to be hot to touch. What are the possible solutions to fix this problem.

sounds like the freezer evaporator has iced /frosted up and you will not get cold airflow through it. try a 24 hour defrost to clear it. then check fridge cooling.

It is normal for the middle strip to be hot. Did you check the temp setting in the fridge section?
Also - you might check for blockage in the bottom. Excessive dirt/dog hair can block the air flow.
