Have you checked to see if it is getting gas to the engine? If you have someone turn the key forward without starting the car while you kneel next to the wheel well by the gas cap you should be able to hear the fuel pump make a "humming" noise when the key is turned forward.... If fuel pump is working correctly I would replace fuel filter (cheap part usually around $15) also check and make sure your getting spark to the plugs

Frontier with yd25 engine cranks but will not start

are the plugs actually working properly though. you can test by removeing the glowplug rail & test each plug individualy with an ohm meter one probe where rail goes the other where the socket goes on to undo them. I don't know what the spec is but they should all be about the same. the other way is to remove all glow plugs & power them up & see if they glow red after a few seconds they should all take about the same time to glow red. Careful as they get red hot real quick so don't touch them

Hello! I don't see a connection between the headlight issue and not starting...However I definitely see a connection with the accident and not starting...When you say "not starting" do you mean the starter doesn't crank the engine or it does crank the engine but won't start? Do you have a meter and a wee bit of experience using one? If you do we can isolate this fault together...Send a comment...Guru...Saailer

When my solenoid fried, I replaced the starter on my 02 FLHRSEI with an aftermarket starter. I have 103,000 miles on the bike and lately it starts hard. I have never changed the fuel filter canister...

If the starter is turning your engine over fast enough, it's not the starter. If it's struggling to turn the engine over, it may indeed be the starter. With over a 100 thousand miles on the bike, I'd suspect the fuel filter would need to be changed. One other cause could be low compression. An engine with low compression requires the starter to turn the engine over longer and faster to get the engine to fire off. I call this "spinning the engine up" like a jet engine has to do. The RPM will increase as the starter spins it and eventually it'll fire. This would mean that it's time for a top end job including rings and a valve job. But, it could be something to do with the fuel injection system. I don't know anything about fuel injection. Sorry. But, I do know that it's supposed to sense the temperature of the engine somehow and enrichen the mixture when the engine is cold.

Good Luck

Why want my truck start. Turning. Over fast

When you say it is "turning over fast," I'm assuming that the starter is engaging and actually cranking the engine. Not knowing the YEAR and MODEL of your truck, I can't even guess which engine it has.

Whether it has a timing CHAIN or a timing BELT in the engine, chances are that is broken and that replacing the belt or chain will likely solve the issue. Hope that's helpful!.

Checked Cables how?

Looking & Touching isn't doing anything

You have to do a voltage drop test or remove
& clean the ends. I would do both

Remove the starter & have it tested at parts store,
assuming you don't know how to do a voltage or
current test while cranking.
