Need the cables for crate flex wave footswitch

They look to be 1/4" stereo male to male jacks (known also as TRS). I don't know where you are but they are easily available.

You need a pair of them at the length you need.

Bought amp with no footswitch

The schematic shows it as a standard 1/4 inch stereo plug. Wire the ground common to both switches (Channel and DFX), the ring to one switch and the tip to the other...I.E. ground (sleeve) to ring for one switch and ground to tip for the other. You'll have to experiment with which switch operates what function and label them accordingly.

I have a VOX AC15C1 amp and bought a VFS2A foot switch. The foot switch right LED did not come on and I sent it back for a replacement. The replacement foot switch came and the right channel seems not to...

That supposedly is the correct footswitch for the amp... there may be a defect in the amp. Contact the factory support about this problem. Make sure you are FULLY plugging in the plug as SOMETIMES they feel like they are clear in but they are not.

Foot switch appears to be wired backwards. The Shape pedal turns on the UtraBass and the UltraBass pedal turns on the Shape (Channel 2).

Foot pedals are usually NOT interchangeable... The correct footswitch would come with the amp so be sure it says Behringer on on the footswitch. Apparently some sellers have foisted off VOX footswitches which may not work with the Berhinger.

HI I NEED TO BE ABLE TO FIGURE A WAY TO BYPASS THE FX WITH A FOOTSWITCH, CAN YOU HELP PLEASE.

I am afraid they did not provide a way to control the FX via a footswitch.

What I would do is to use an EXTERNAL effects unit that does have foot switch input. Use this by connecting via two TRS insert cables to the MAIN L and R "insert" jacks. These insert cables each carry both the send and return signals for each side of the stereo.

Hi , I have a Yamaha RA50 rotary amp ...what kind of stereo footswitch should I be looking for to suit this unit .Would a Peavey stereo footswitch do the job ? thank you , Michael

The footswitch just has two toggling buttons that connect either the tip or ring or both of the TRS plug to the sleeve. Very low-tech... make your own.

The buttons are alternate on-off action ones.

I seem to have the wrong cord on my footswitch as the female end on my amp is one of those computer types, How can i get around this?

The footswitch should be a 1/4 inch stereo type (TRS) plug to fit the footswitch jack of the MG250FX. It is a three wire connection.

Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Footswitch

Main thing to verify is that the particular footswitch and cable you have is specifically for that amp. If it is not the right one, that is your problem as there is very little compatibility among footswitches.
Looking at the schematic, plugging in JUST the cable shifts operation as you observed. This uses a crazy circuit in which AC is applied on the cable and the footswitch has a diode each direction that causes the amp to shift between the states. when you plug a bare cable in, it disconnects the internal diodes and switches for control at the amp, hence the signals float.
You should investigate the footswitch to make sure it is the right type with the diodes resistors and caps that is for the Fender Deluxe.

You can find the schematic for the amp here:

http://www.fender.com/support/amp_schematics/pdfs/Hot_Rod_Deluxe_Schematic.pdf

Look at the circuitry of the switches on the schematic at C8. Your pedal should have similar circuitry. Assuming your cable is good, the problem would be in the pedal itself.

My 100hdfx has a problem switching channels. Both overdrive channels work fine but the clean channel is none existant. If you switch it to the clean channel and turn it up all the way you can faintly here...

have you tried the footswitch to change channels. also. my amp has to be in channel 2 position (with the button on the head) before i can use the footswitch. sometimes the input/footswitch jack wears out and you need to bend the internal tip/ring tabs of the jack to make better contact. also like on my fender amp, i had just a standard mono instrument cable going to my footswitch and it was acting wierd cause it needed a stereo instrument cable. one last thing on the grounding resistors on the pcb, they get hot and break the solder welds which messes with all sorts of stuff in amps. usually look like sugar cubes , cement resistor. 5watt usually under 1k ohm. check for bad solder welds on the pcb where the big resistors are and the switches/buttons and at the footswitch. there may be a bad ic or transistor for the channel swithing
