SOURCE: whirlpool dishwasher makes a loud notise then

The spray arms do sometimes wear and need replacenent, and are available fron spares centres.
The loud noise is probably the water pressure pushing it off at an angle, and instead of rotating, water will just escape out one side - so your dishes will not get clean untill it is replaced.

What is the purpose of the Whirlpool Cap ( W10193605 )

The cap is used to designate "no connection" during assembly of the drain portion of the pump. The pump and sub parts are made for a variety of models and that particular machine of yours does not use that connection.

Whirlpool ADP6940 Dishwasher The CAP at the below of the washing is lost. Due to this water is leaking at the end of cycle. Where to get this CAP

MAke sure that it is not a leak from a loose joint of the hose clamp or the leak from the drain pump/valve. if you think that the drain end cap is missing this can be plugged using a similar rubber plug. If not try the Whirlpool dealer- service - for the correct part.

Whirlpool Dishwasher DU1100XTPB7: The dishwasher starting making a really loud noise as it was going through it's cycles and it did that for about 2 weeks. Now the water will not run through the washer...

The pump is most likely bad. If the dishwasher has some years on it, repairing might not be economical. Get some estimates, that will help with the decision to repair or replace.

Foul odor on dishes and in dishwasher after cycle

It is very likely that your dishwasher is growing mold, in this condition. If it is causing your dishes the same issue, it may be wisest to obtain a dishwasher cleanser(Several detergent manufacturers now sell dishwasher cleaning items), which will hopefully kill off any mold colonies growing in your dishwasher's blades, and in your drain cap.

The dishes on the top rack are not getting clean... nothing seems to be blocking any of the spray arms... I have cleaned the DWs interior. It quit cleaning properly about a month ago

Hi you will need to remove the lower spray arm, then remove the filter and check the sump for any blockages. If nothing is found you will need to replace the wash pump. Normally if you clear the area around the chopper blade this will solve the problem. Mike
