the lens is the outside piece that the wind hits when driving. you don't have to remove anything to get to them. what exactly do you mean by lens.

How to get my single image back?

Although It may not appear to have prisms because of the sleek barrels, they do infact have roof prisms in them. Most likely one of the prisms is out of position. Bushnell typically has a great warranty so contacting them to have them repair it would be my recommendation. Here is there service group link: Bushnell Repair Services. If you need additional guidance do not hesitate to contact the folks at RCS Optics

I have the quantaray lens ld 70-300mm. Was working fine until one day. When I look through it everything looks slightly foggy. Adjusting it doesn't help. Cleaned the outside lens. Would like to kn

Yes, the lens can be disassembled and cleaned. But before you think about doing so, think about this. Do you have a lens collimator and other equipment necessary to ensure proper alignment on reassembly? If you don't, please leave inside cleaning to a trained professional.

My Bushnell 16x32's have a haze in the lower sights. Brand new out of the package. Fixable on my part or take back to the store ? Thanks !!! Laura

It's your choice. It is very fixable normally but taking the lens scope off may ruin the warranty. It is usually moisture or improper handeling during assembly.

Big lens on end of telescope is stained, can i takre it apart or get a new part. thank you.

If you can remove the lens you can clean it with alcohol (97% or better) and distilled water plus a drop of dish soap. (50% alcohol, 50% water) rinse with distilled water.
If that does not clean the lens, use pure acetone (not the perfumed, nail polish remover) Again, rinse with distilled water.
Might as well try since this is not much of a telescope, more of a toy to discourage would be astronomers.

I bought a used Tasco Galaxsee 45-060525 for my next door neighbor's young boys who are home-schooled to study astronomy. The lens are all foggy/cloudy. Any suggestions?

Wish you DID NOT buy this scope. Tasco, Bushnell, are both what we call "department store" telescopes.

Also the mount is called an equatorial mount. It must be polar aligned in order to use it. Read my TIP on polar alignment on my profile page.

The eyepieces can be cleaned with any eyeglass cleaning kit or photographic lens cleaning kit from a camera store. Be gentle when cleaning.

Next time buy them a scope like this one called a Dobsonian mounted reflector.

Pieces of dirt/oil residue on INSIDE of viewing lens.

That is not oil.....its thermal burns. Thermal burns happen when the eyepiece cap is not used. Sunlight burns the surface of the LCD display. This is permanent damage. Cleaning will not fix this. The repair center can fix.

Water damege

That depens if the fog is inside or outside, outside it usually dries faster than inside. You are advised to let it dry at least another 24 hours , if the lens is still foggy after that , thab you must go to a repair shop to let it be cleaned.
